I used to fight back to a-hole drivers, but not anymore. Too many people out there now with nothing to lose.
If somebody rides 2" off my bumper, I slow it right down to EXACTLY the speed limit, make COMPLETE stops, etc. That's it. If they cut me off or get ahead of me, I count it a blessing that they're in front of me and just let them go.

Hindsight is 20/20 but if I knew someone was following me from a road rage incident I'd either call the police and tell them this person is following me home for it or drive straight to a police station. Part of it being me in a chair I can't really fight but so many psychos out there with a good chance of having a knife or a gun. Sad thing is even then they could just pull up next to you and shoot. And for those saying you dare them to follow you home cus you'll whip their ass...now you're the criminal and likely spending time behind bars. Sad the world we live in.

Not today it doesn’t. I have seen a ridiculous number of instances in which I was driving along, only to get cut off and brake checked because apparently doing 5-7 over isn’t enough and such behavior is deemed appropriate by the batshit crazy motoring public we’re dealing with nowadays. Way too many people are narcissistic, in an huge hurry, and on the verge of snapping at any moment. I guess operating an alarm clock to leave a few minutes earlier rather than driving like an asshole is asking too much.
Gun in center console of all my vehicles in case I'm not already carrying. If you're a sane person, knowing you've got a gun on you just gives you more motivation to stay out of these situations, but if someone doesn't give you a choice, at least you've got something to work with. Also no chance I'm driving to my home if some nut is following me.
Maybe so. But regarding de-escalation, if an asshole follows you home after a traffic dispute and is armed with a deadly weapon when they confront you on your property, the only de-escalation that should occur is curing their lead deficiency.
South Florida has some super aggressive drivers, mostly on 95 but I just stay in center lane with my E350. Seems like everyone has to make the hard pass going 100 mph, I enjoy going back to upstate NY where most drivers are pretty mellow…heal up Bro….
Heal up DBO….just a FYI during my CC class found out just because someone threatens you and on your property doesn’t get you a “get out of jail free” card, so do what you feel is necessary but don’t be surprised if you are in for a long legal fight…

My partner shes a great driver and is a road rager, I always tell her stop riding peoples asses and hibeaming them because you never know whos behind that wheel.
Perth Australia has had the worst drivers in the world for decades, and it just seems to get worse and worse as time goes on, I believe this is a direct reflection on society I don't know what's causing it my guess is pharmaceutical drugs, they're like zombies.

I was behind a VW Passat and they were going like 20 in a 55. When i went to pass, the car accelerated alongside me so i couldnt pass. There was an oncoming car i had to slam on my brakes and get behind the car. When we got alongside the car finally the driver was laughing and flipping me off. I flashed him my walther ppk and started to laugh myself. Didnt point it at him just showed it to him. Dude took off fast and i followed for a bit and then I realized how stupid that was and just went home.
You're lucky he didn't call the cops on you. Flashing a gun you aren't planning to use is pretty stupid.

I cut a guy off in traffic once... complete accident as I didnt see him and he pulled along side me swerving toward my car and screaming and yelling for me to pull over and I held up my beer in "cheers" motion and he laughed and drove off. I won the deescalation trophy that day.
I told my buddy to do that just last night as he brought up denny and his crazy situation.

I mean Denny has an almost daily meltdown on Twitter telling complete strangers to go fuck themselves, kill themselves, etc. I think people are quick to forget. I am not surprised to read this headline. Not in the slightest. Anyone with half a brain wouldn’t be.
The guy he sent that to was a stranger and when Denny could no longer rebuttal as he does, he restored to saying that and then right after going on that guys account and retweeting old posts of his calling him an idiot, brainless, etc. weird for a guy with a reputation
