2017 NMA Off-Road Series Beginning

Welcome!  I have decided to attempt racing my first ever series.  I do not have a background of racing what so ever but have been passionate about dirt bikes my entire life.  I was first introduced to off-road racing 1 year ago on a borrowed bike (didn't own a bike at the time) and absolutely fell in love with the scene and terrain.  Since that race I decided to buy a bike, without the intent on racing it.  Last time I owned a bike was back when 4-strokes didn't rule the racing scene... in other words I grew up riding 2-strokes and found myself buying yet another 2-stroke.  With a new-to-me, used 2014 KTM 300 XC, I'm hitting the pavement with the family and will be competing in the Northwest Motorcycle Association Off-Road Series http://www.nmaoffroad.org/page/show/284821-nma-home-page.  I want to ride as much as I can without over doing it so instead of starting in a C Class (Short Course) I will be riding the Long Courses in the Open B Class.

Another passion of mine is creating rad videos of cool stuff... although never actually creating content and doing rad things on camera, haha.  So in addition to racing the off-road series, I decided to Vlog my experience of each round and any other fun activities throughout the season.

So for 2017 it'll be a first for racing and vlogging!  Nothing professional (riding/filming/editing) here by any means but maybe interesting and informative to some who are in my shoes and considering doing the same.  Video below depicts the gear I'll be using while competing and traveling to Round #1.
