Yeah, I don't think the material changes the performance. He said they can't make the full carbon canisters because the way they are so tucked into the number plates and frame it would actually get too hot for the carbon. I guess it's the same on the ... more »

A representative from Yoshimura said the bike is very sensitive to each pipes diameter and taper. The 2 exhausts are not only for engine performance but the bikes chassis is designed with that in mind they said. Going 2 into 1 would change the chassis

I'd say my 2016 KTM with Yosh exhaust, hi comp piston, head work, mapped on VP is a mix between a slightly weaker version of the YZ bottom end along with the KTM/Honda top end. But that's also $2,000+ worth of work. You can pretty much carry 3rd gear ... more »

It's hard to get a camera that shoots good slow motion in that price range. Also keep in mind that when a camera shoots 1080 60p that's not slow motion, that's just a shooting mode. Look for 48fps, 60FPS, 120fps, that means, frames per second and will ... more »

ML mentions this in the video where the Yamaha and Honda ended up 1 point apart but are polar opposites. And it's very true, the bottom end of a Yamaha is night and day more powerful over the Honda. Very noticeable. But on the other hand, the Honda pulls ... more »

Personally I'd take a bike that has a comfortable chassis, ergos and suspension over the most powerful bike in the class. But I talked with other riders at the test(faster more aggressive riders) and they prefer to start with a faster bike. I think this ... more »

I'd be interested to ride the bike with full Yosh system, hi-comp piston, race gas and full dyno mapped. My concern with going up too far with the rear sprocket is that you will it make you have to shift more often? I asked the Honda mechanics at the ... more »

I had this problem on my 16 KTM 250SXF but after about 100 hours. I wonder if this slave would work on a KTM?

So Matt reminded me the Big 6 race is at Gorman this weekend. So no go... The track is fun, mellow jumps and great prep on Thursday and Fridays. Stays good until 11-12ish then drys out a bit. It's $5 and your supposed to run a spark arrestor, sometimes ... more »

Have you guys tried to remove inflammatory foods from your diet like gluten and dairy? I've been doing this for the past year or so, not very strict but I can feel a difference for a few days after I eat unhealthy food, especially fried food. Jimmy Decotis

I wouldn't doubt if KTM wait until 2020 to update the 2 strokes. I have no evidence of this, just wondering if they can R&D all the bikes they have at once.

I can only tell by the axel lug size. 2015 and older have a big axel, 2016+ are small axel.

I've run them in the past. But after some issues with slipping during a race, slight power loss, also I felt like it slipped when I was in deep loam or mud. I switched back to normal Hinson manual clutch. The Rekluse has some advantage if you feel like ... more »

All stock. The only reason to use the T4 instead of 91 is if you want to go all non-ethanol. Either mixture works great and was recommend by VP.

You can get it from Hinson without the Ktm logo.

I usually mix 4-5 gallons at a time in my plastic moto gas jug. First I put the proper amount of premix oil, then 50% VP, then 50% pump gas on the way to the
