OK, I'm all screwed up. Sounds like RV will be kitted like Weimer a few years ago......

Added reply in a thread RV to.......... 10/18/2017 7:53 AM

I wonder if we'll also see RV going to Gaerne boots. Would seem odd for him to switch over to Tucker Rocky/Answer for gear but still be wearing the Astars boots distributed by PU. If he goes with Bell helmets and Gaerne boots he'll essentially be wearing ... more »

Added reply in a thread 2018 CRF50 idle issues. Please help 10/17/2017 11:32 AM

Likely a clogged pilot jet. Your bike has the symptoms. The pilot jet on these has a hair-thin opening that clogs with the slightest amount of varnish. Always add Sta-Bil or other ethanol equalizer to the gas for this reason. Also, this bike is very ... more »

Added reply in a thread New foot peg options 10/16/2017 8:15 AM

The stock footpegs on the newer YZ's and YZF's are an excellent, cheap option for your YZ's. The stock pegs on the 05-06 YZ's are cast titanium and are skinny and bend or crack easily. The newer pegs are cast stainless and are much wider. I have them ... more »

Added reply in a thread Knock of keihin? 10/14/2017 8:57 PM

What's funny is they named it an Air Striker but the copied all the details except the ones that make an Air Striker! Jets might not be too difficult if they made it compatible with standard Keihin jets. Who knows if they did.

Added reply in a thread RC on a Honda Pics 10/13/2017 10:40 PM

Yep. Windham on the 450 was giving RC some trouble in 2003 and RC alluded many times to the disadvantage of the 2-stroke. I was at the Broome-Tioga round and RC was all over Windham, absolutely stretching the throttle cable to the limit but Windham just ... more »

Added reply in a thread How do I remove this bearing? 10/12/2017 8:57 PM

Notice in this video it is a shielded bearing. That retains the grease pressure behind the bearing. The bearing in the motorcycle cases is fully open. You might get lucky if you pack enough rags in there but most of the grease would probably just push ... more »

Added reply in a thread CRF250 Stripped oil drain bolt. 10/12/2017 8:54 PM

If you absolutely have to have it fixed perfect, do what Paw Paw says. However, that is the expensive way. If you are on a budget do a timesert. The trick to avoiding shavings in your oil is to use grease on the tap. It will catch and hold the shavings. ... more »

I recommend you verify that your rear brake hose is not touching the exhaust pipe.

Sweet !!!! Awesome that it was the smallest and least expensive possibility.

Added reply in a thread 2000 YZ 250 Smoker Project 10/9/2017 10:57 AM

Same here. It's always something that is "super cheap" or "super easy to fix" but yet the seller just can't seem to take care of this simple thing for some reason. In AZ, dirt bikes are required to be titled. So everyone is sketched out by bikes with ... more »

Added reply in a thread Window’d KTM engine. 9/25/2017 2:56 PM

My owners manual says to run 15psi in each tire. It seems to handle funny but, engineers know best. But, I have a serious conundrum. My KTM has a sticker on the engine that says Motorex oils only and my Husky has one that says Bel-Ray oils only. Aren't ... more »

Added reply in a thread Why wont my 2010 CRF 250 Cold Start 9/25/2017 1:09 PM

Have you tried using starting fluid when it is cold? Try that and see if it fires right away. If it does, you've at least narrowed it down to a fuel delivery problem. If it is a fuel delivery prob, there are a few things that can cause it. Bad coolant ... more »

My cousin was out there taking pics. He works nights on the turnpike though so it will be a bit until he sorts and uploads. He shot photos Sat, worked the TP all night, and then came back again Sunday. Nuts.

It couldn't all be regular pump gas. Half of it was leaded and they can't sell leaded fuel from a pump. Also, don't think there are any VP gas stations anywhere close to PA.

Hey my buddy took the pics and I mentioned to my cousin that there was a guy from Lehighton on Vital. Said he knows you. My cousin works on the TP and saw the whole thing. He said only like 2 gallons of the 6300 spilled but when they were off loading
