Added reply in a thread Question about MC's KTM deal 12/9/2017 10:20 AM

I think Honda personally. He raced nine seasons aboard a Honda (counting the four rookie season races in 89, plus another two seasons if you count the 12 races he did between '05-'06 aboard a Honda...so without those it would be six seasons) and all ... more »

That was different. 2002 was MC's last full year of racing and that was aboard a Yamaha. In '03 he would've raced the KTM but ultimately due to injury and some issues with the program he called it the end and retired. I believe he went to the majority ... more »

Larry! Did you guys take the rig around for the retirement tour or was MC's bike under the factory KTM awning for that?

Probably the World SX rounds he attended or it could've been from during the season where he showed up and did his "retirement" tour...I don't think they woulda brought their rig to each round for the opening ceremonies thing he did. I was about 9 years ... more »

It was Jeremy's private team, which was title sponsored by Bud Light.

The 100k+ fees are usually brought up when talking about Baker but he has a full facility with multiple SX and outdoor tracks, plus a crew that keeps the place running...that's part of what you're paying for with him. In Lance's case, it's well known ... more »

Well not sure for Roczen last year...but the year before I'd say they were each tested two or three times? Depends if either was on where-abouts. I think Tomac has been...on where-abouts you have to report your location everyday to USADA/WADA and they ... more »

Jeremy isn't very tall, Alex is even shorter...Craig is around the 6 foot mark.

RV, Reed, Millsaps, Dungey and a few others have been on the where abouts program...

I've spoken to at least ten US riders that have spent a full year on the "where-abouts" program.

That head would've been illegal. It's just simple time and development. The team had nine years on the old engine platform and only a bit over two months on the new one...they're making gains ever day.

I'm no soccer expert...but doesn't their regular season start the first week of March? Stadium availability is something most don't think of...

Added reply in a thread Soccer Stadiums 12/8/2017 9:51 AM

A lot of the soccer stadiums I've seen here have a very low angle to the seating arrangement and start right at field level, making a good chunk of that seating useless for Supercross (you wouldn't be able to see anything).

They had nine years of development on their old racing package...they've had just over two months on the new engine. Stuff like new cams, Pistons, and rods take time to get made...let alone the endless crank combinations and amount of time they'll play ... more »
