Dean just got back from England and doesn't have the testing time on the new parts that Anderson does... After the last outdoor national, Dean went over to England almost three weeks early, while Jason was doing Supercross testing. For A1, Dean will be on the new bike.

I covered that in the Charlier caption. Everts won the MXoN in 2003 as a team with Belgium, but Carmichael was the out-right winner as a rider. Then Everts won the ISDE in 2003 as the individual rider but not as a team, as Belgium only placed tenth at that event. So Everts didn't win both in the same way...Charlier on the other hand is the first rider to be on both winning teams, winning with France at ISDE then MXoN. In the record books he'll be listed as a winner of each event in a sense. Where Everts isn't the first thing to pop up when the 2003 ISDE results are presented as it shows up as a team event.

Lost nitrogen pressure wouldn't cause a total collapse, it's likely spring/retainer related.

They're not the same bike. As you can see, a few of us separate the KTM and Husky by a bike or two in our results.

We'll be working on it. The hardest part with laptimes is them being collected at different points of the day and rider cutting the track to make bike changes messes them up...They hold value in testing, but we don't put all our stock in them due to the variables. I'm trying to decided how to make them a bit more relevant in the future Shootouts...by 250F I might have something a bit better in stone.

There's a fair amount of talk that Seewer has equipment that Lawrence doesn't have access to. At the 2016 USGP, I noticed Seewer's bike had quite a few goodies that the other Suzuki MX2 bikes didn't have. Including a different airbox, seat base shape (more air travel), intake, etc...

The shock tower area inside would be different as well and I see another difference in material thickness in the extrusion that goes from the spars to the front of the frame, tapering behind the radiator shrouds.

Please rewatch his crash, he hasn't even used the full rear travel, we have a rear tire sinking into sand. The entire ground clearance is compromised based off the conditions. The frame has contacted the ground without using up the rear suspension travel. "These" buck-offs? Do we have a list going at this point? Another thing that effects these numbers is the where the ground clearance is measured as some go by the bottom of the frame and others go by the knuckle on the link. Secondly, the taper of the frame and skidplate vs non-skidplate makes a difference based on if the bike can slide across the material or digs in when you "frame" a jump (still rider error), also the how low the engine hands down in the frame. Recently I played around on the Alta and although it has the same ground clearance as most of these bike, the front of the battery is like a wall and hangs down farther then most engine do. I shorted a jump and it contacted much earlier than any other bike I've been on.

Tony proved the concept is valid but his works bike also produced more than 60 horsepower. People will continue to raise a brow at the stock bike and how it compares. That's why we do these pieces.

It caught the frame in the wet, sticky sand. The bike has roughly the same frame cradle to ground clearance that the other manufacturers use...stuff happens, rider miss-judgement.
