Added reply in a thread Help setup my AER48 forks 10/11/2017 11:20 AM

I run mine at 140-142 psi, depending on terrain. 170 lbs, Vet rider. Compression 15 clicks out, rebound 15 clicks out. And I run mine on the third line. Works perfect!

I ran my 4CS flush at the top, but my AER48 I run at the 3rd line. Sag at 105mm.

Dunlop MX3S out front, and then a MX3S or a MX11 (or 12 soon) out back, depending on track conditions. There are some great rebates out on Dunlops now as well, so that helps.

I'm a Vet rider as well, and run Maxima ProPlus 10w50 full synthetic in my 2016 FC350, since new. I change mine after every 3-5 hrs, unless I ride sand track/trails where I change it after each ride. No issues after 30 hours.

I use this stuff. Very common at auto parts stores and it is a very close

I really like it! I installed the header at the same time as drilling the air box holes, so I do not have an exact comparison on the header alone. I do know that both helped the bike a ton! A lot more bottom end. I recommend using their "SX style" header ... more »

I couldn't get the rear brackets to line up either. I know they are the same frames as the KTM's, but something is off with them. I just slide the rear lip in by the linkage, and bolt the front in, under the header. I race woods and moto, and I've never

Thanks man! Yes, it does have to be removed, but it is one 4mm allen-head bolt at the front, below the header. I did not opt to run the rear brackets that slide over the frame as they were a pain to get right. I just slide the plate into the rear part ... more »

How is your bike coming along? I need to get with Dan for one of his intake cams. I've been procrastinating too long.

I really like it when I ride in the woods. Almost feels like cheating. I do like it on the motocross track too, however it makes it rather difficult to launch hard out of a starting gate, since you cannot rev the motor and slip the clutch anymore. All ... more »

I wanted to post an update as I haven't recently. Added a Rekluse Core EXP 3.0 auto clutch, Braking brand front rotor, an Acerbis front brake rotor guard, and Acerbis hand guards.

Added reply in a thread KTM WP Air Fork Settings /PSI 8/23/2017 11:49 AM

I have yet to see a chart, but here is some data... Standard rider weight is 165-187lbs when WP/KTM/Husky refer to a standard setting. So keep that in mind when adjusting. WP recommends 154psi however, I felt that was too stiff for a traditional MX track. ... more »

Do you have a full set of Jason Anderson's? With white rear fender? If so, I will take the set. P.S. Semper Fi brother!

I run the NoToil cage with no issues. 30 hours or so. Which brand are you using?

DCR cams for sure. Dan is making killer power on the KTM/Husky's and he has his grinds down to a science.

Another happy customer here. Bought my AER's from him and couldn't be happier.

I vote for MX-Tech. They have their AER program dialed in. Whether you want just a small job, or full-on race fork, they can do it all and at a great price.
