By asking jonesaustin what he likes and accepting his personal preference as a universal fact maybe?

Except that the 2 days a week that you don’t work are worth 3,5 months of vacation, not counting actual paid leave. Those guys are working 7 days a week during racing season, take a week or 2 off in the fall and then get in testing and boot camps until ... more »

Added reply in a thread How about that long-awaited Yamaha 65? 12/14/2017 5:42 AM

Sounds like a 2 stroke at the end of the video.

Added reply in a thread YZ65 12/13/2017 3:29 PM

Doesn’t sound like a PW though.

That’s an 85 number plate. Maybe it was his big brother’s.

Added reply in a thread YZ65 12/13/2017 11:35 AM

I hope it came from a reliable source within the industry!

Added reply in a thread YZ65 12/13/2017 10:55 AM

Looks like an 85 front plate but the kid is clearly too small for an 85. Interesting for sure. Edit: didn't pay attention to the number. Seems pretty obvious now.

It's clear to me his account has been hacked. I guess he shouldn't have chosen "SUSZUKI" as a password.

Added reply in a thread Yz250f wheels on 2 stroke. 12/13/2017 6:56 AM

you would have to have similar spacers machined to fit. Otherwise a fork swap would be in order.

Would you be interested in splitting up the kit? Might be interested in the shock.

Added reply in a thread WILL 2015 YZ250f suspension fit on A 2008 YZ125 12/11/2017 1:15 PM

Hence the mention about needing new triples. But I agree that in terms of bolt-on mods, this isn't.

Added reply in a thread WILL 2015 YZ250f suspension fit on A 2008 YZ125 12/9/2017 6:05 AM

Fork will fit but you will also need a 14+ wheel hub and axle. Triple clamps would need to be changed too. Shock will simply not fit. I say not worth it.

Did you seal the edges with tape or you just slid them in place?

Added reply in a thread Anyone own a cycling resistance trainer? 12/8/2017 1:08 PM

I am against cycling trainers personally. All I hear is they give you PEDs and stuff.

Added reply in a thread Where'd your number come from? 12/8/2017 7:45 AM

I ran many numbers through the years. My first race I was #10 because that’s what was on my bike when I bought it. Turns ou it was a pos so I showed up at my 2nd race with a brand new bike. I was late, so I chose #11 because it could be done quickly ... more »

I remember mix and matching a few spacers and bolts, but nothing more. Maybe there was a mid year change.

Added reply in a thread MC's 1997 Suzuki (the forks rumour) 12/7/2017 1:13 PM

Funny thing is, they actually did even worse in 2004 on the Kawazuki engine when they combined the water pump cover and the oil filter cover into one.

Added reply in a thread Help Identify This D.I.D. Rim 12/7/2017 8:43 AM

Had an 00 and an 01 KX125s with rounded rims like this one. 99-02 KX125 and KX250 came stock with those.

Added reply in a thread How many of you ride with plates and screws? 12/7/2017 8:36 AM

Rode a season with a collarbone plate. Had it removed the next winter as it bothered me every day. I've had compression/rebound adjuster screws in my left ankle since 2010 and don't feel them at all.

Added reply in a thread YZ250 Swingarm Update the Right Way (Not the MXA way) 12/6/2017 5:35 AM

That is weird, I installed a 2014 YZ250F swingarm and linkage on my 2012 YZ125 and it lined up perfectly.
