crf running problem!

i bought a new piston in ring for my 06 crf 250r it. i had to put a new shim in the exaust then i bought a new spark plug it fires up first kick every time and idles kinda ruff at some points but back fires alot when i rev it up and let off. any ideas? i cleaned the carb twice and bought new throtle cables
