Round 8 – Spring Creek National
We're back for the eighth round at the home of the Martin brothers, the Spring Creek Motocross Park in Millville, Minnesota. The blue crew of Star Racing Yamaha is ready for another internal duel for the title, as Cooper Webb has found his groove the last three rounds. While in the 450 class, we're waiting to see if Monster Energy Kawasaki's Eli Tomac can make good on his 1-1 performance last weekend and challenge Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John Suzuki's Ken Roczen before he walks away with the title in hand.

450 Moto 2 Results:
Red Bull KTM's Marvin Musquin came out swinging with the holeshot in 450 moto 2 and held the lead for a couple laps until Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John Suzuki's Ken Roczen (who started outside the top ten) jumped right by and ran away with the moto win. While Monster Energy Kawasaki's Eli Tomac started ahead of Ken Roczen, he was unable to make his moves as quickly, ultimately finishing third as he wasn't able to catch Marvin Musquin who captured second.
250 Moto 2 Results:
Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha's Alex Martin took off with the lead in moto 2, just to fall about half way through the first lap, handing the lead to his brother Jeremy Martin. Jeremy Martin however quickly lost the lead as well, but to the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Adam Cianciarulo. However, Adam was only able to hang onto the lead from the homeboy for so long, as Jeremy Martin retook the lead after about three laps. Once this happened, Cianciarulo fell back and came victim to Rockstar Husqvarna's Zach Osborne, his teammate Joey Savatgy, and then Cooper Webb and Aaron Plessinger. Zach Osborne's hold on second was short lived, as Joey Savatgy made his way by, but then took the spot from Savatgy back. In the process though, Cooper Webb smashed by both of them to take over second. At the line, Jeremy Martin retained the lead and the overall win, while Cooper Webb took second, and Zach Osborne third.
450 moto 1 Results:
450 moto 1 kicked off with another AutoTrader/Monster Energy JGR Yamaha holeshot with Justin Barcia onboard. The top two in the class, Monster Energy Kawasaki's Eli Tomac and Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John Suzuki's Ken Roczen started second and third. Tomac made a quick move on Barcia before the end of the first lap, while Roczen spent another lap or so trying to squeeze by the wide Yamaha that Barcia was riding. Once past him, Roczen made his way back to the rear-end of Tomac and then the Kawasaki rider made a mistake, letting Roczen squeeze by for the lead with 20 minutes to go. About this time, Red Bull KTM's Marvin Musquin showed his qualifying speed wasn't a fluke by making his way past Barcia to take over third position and held it to the end.
250 Moto 1 Results:
The first 250 moto started out as a Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha train, as the local boys Alex Martin led the way followed by his brother Jeremy Martin, with championship points leader chasing them in third. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Joey Savatgy tried to return to the championship battle while stalking Cooper Webb in third, but slowly lost ground on the blue machines. Cooper Webb made his way past Jeremy Martin, then pressured Alex Martin up until three laps to go when Alex finally made a mistake, went down, and let Webb and his brother Jeremy through. Cooper Webb takes moto 1, followed by Jeremy Martin second, and Alex Martin third.
