Rider Check: Blake Lilly

Hometown: Riverside, CA

Currently reside in: Wildomar, CA

Amateur accomplishments: Several top fives and top tens at all the big amateur nationals in schoolboy, B and A classes.

Pro achievements: Three supercross main events; scoring a 17th, and two 20th-places finishes. I've only managed to do one outdoor race moto. One I DNF'd (due to bike problems), moto two I finished 22nd. I also raced two Australian MX Nationals, I finished tenth and fifth overall.

Plans for the upcoming season: My plans for 2017 are to race the 250 West coast supercross championship, and I plan to be in a lot more main events and as many outdoor rounds as I can get to.

First bike: PW 50.

Current bike: KTM 250SX-F.

In my first race, I... I don't remember too much, but it was at Starwest in the 65cc first-timer class, and I believe I got second.

Why do I ride? I love every bit of it. There's nothing more fun then riding your dirt bike. I also really enjoy the racing, the preparation and having a goal to strive for.

If I'm not riding, I'm probably: Working on bikes, or cycling of some sort.

I'm currently driving: Dodge Sprinter.

Dream vehicle: Rolls Royce...keep it classy.

Musical tastes include: I listen to a bit of everything, mainly country.

My five must-have apps: Instagram, Snapchat, Google Maps, Polar Flow, and Soundcloud.

Three web sites I can't do without: I'm always searching stuff on Google, Vital MX, and Racer X.

If I were the King of Motocross, I'd change it by... Make it more accessible to the people and not such an elitist sport.

Something to make the sport better or safer would be: Improve helmets and the helmets durability requirements.

My hidden talent is: Maybe clapping with one hand. Haha.

Gotta thank:
Big thanks to the guys at KTM of Murrieta for stepping up and really supporting me last year and moving into 2017. Also, Toyota of Escondido, Fly Racing, Scott, FMF, ODI, 2X Motorsports, Five18 Designs, Pirelli, Motoseat, my parents, my girlfriend; and my trainer, Jay Whipple. I have some awesome sponsors and racing wouldn't be possible without them.
