Muscle Milk and all of the other sponsors that helped make REvival 41 a reality literally rolled out the red carpet on Thursday night for the star of the new online 30 minute movie, Trey Canard. From start to finish, this was an A-class event held at the Garden Walk Theaters in Anaheim. After some hors d'oeuvres and drinks, the film got under way with a quick introduction from producer and former ESPN commentator, Sal Masekela.
Without revealing too much of the film, I can without hesitation, say that it is one of the best motocross oriented productions I have seen in recent years. Not because of riding footage (of which there are some great shots), but because of the excellent story telling done by director Jason Bergh. Add to this the personal story of Canard and his genuine sincerity that he carries with him and that the film captures, and REvival 41 is a very well done flick. The editing and camera work are top notch and are an extreme departure from your standard online video or even high-budget riding movie.
