Troy Lee Designs SE4 Helmet Intro

The Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/KTM team, as well as Cole Seely, have been testing the newest Troy Lee Designs helmet, the SE4, in plain sight over the last several months. While it's still a month or so away from being available in stores, the TLD crew recently held a launch party to show it off. Some of the highlights? It's got 21 intake/exhaust ports, and a brow cover design to channel air to behind the goggles for forehead cooling. It's also set up with triple-density EPS to handle low-, medium-, and high-speed impacts, as well as having 13% more EPS in the Head Band area. There's a Mips liner to help slow rotational forces, and nearly all the riders we talked to mentioned the light weight. But maybe most importantly, the helmet developers at Troy Lee Designs have been very excited about the test results they've received from an independent testing lab on the new lid. In fact, they were excited enough that Troy insisted that his riders start wearing it before it was available to the public.

We've got a couple different videos from the night. The first one covers the TLD crew as they introduce the SE4 helmet at their headquarters in Corona, CA. We checked in with Troy Lee, Cole Seely, and Jessy Nelson for that one.
