some boxes are rolling in .

Moto stuff with the original blade 280 kit will give it The factory brake look .along with the vented wheel spacers

Also got my woody graphics on some new plastics

Baggy of Ti hardware

Scored some newer crf 450 forks that I will have coated in clear anodized for the uppers , I'll keep the stock shock and kashima coat the body along with some TiN on the lowers and shaft .

Gotta have some red clamps , never heard of the exhaust flange breaking but I seen this online so figured it can't hurt to have it .

I'm in search of a holeshot device like the Honda push button holeshot if anyone has any insight ?

Nice ! Looking forward towards your build.
FYI - The 02-04 models have an exhaust flange & the 05-07 models do not.

It's an actual 02 bike . So I got the flange for the 02. I was going to get the 03 and get a 03 pipe but couldn't find many benefits or differences .

Deciding on where I wanna send my head and cylinder off too .

Most likely PC as its only a retail of 350 For that .

Pretty tough to beat that !

How do you find all of this? How do you plan on finding the silencer!

My bad. I thought you were building an 06 model. I've owned the 02 - 03 & the 03 has better cyl. oem porting specs..

Currently own an 03 with PC cyl / head mods with the head cut to run VP C12. I had the work done in 2005 for $300 & it has been the best bang for the buck in all my yrs. of riding mx. You won't be disappointed if you go that route.

I bought all of this new, give me a follow on social media I offer a lot of great deals to my followers . you'll see when you follow my Fb or instagram .

Also I have a short PC silencer I just missed taking photos of the rest of my build.

Yes sir , it's an 02 in just making it into the 06 MC replica . Since there wasn't any major look changes .
Yeah I think PC would be my best bet .. I have a yz250 that the motor was done with them and it was intense .

v force should be here soon also .

If any of y'all know where I can find that push style HRC holeshot button Lmk.

Yup. Also had an 04 YZ250 with the PC cyl / head mods. The CR will be noticeably stronger in the mid-top / overrev.

Had some spare time to start the process of tearing down . Looks like I will need a left radiator most likely .

Also shipped off my new crf 450 forks and stock rear shock to be coated.

For the most part the motor and almost all the bolts still look pretty good . But almost all the visual bolts will be replaced with titanium .

If you're on a tight budget, that radiator can be straightened out with minimal effort. I've brought some back from far worse condition.

I appreciate it . I get a new radiator for about 100 oem price so I think it'll be worth it to just get a brand new one .

Did a little work today , my suspension was dis assembled and shipped off for DLC and coatings .

everything cleaned up pretty nice , the motor cases will for sure need more loving . This was just my preliminary .

And of course the graphics and plastics . Woohoo! Defy graphics got me set up on my trim kit, which is on point , and I got the shrouds and seat cover from TJ.

I was pleasantly surprised that when I was taking everything apart , the bolts were darn near perfect on the interior side of the bolt which should make it a easy assembly process .

Although most bolts will be replaced with Ti.

This build is so badass! Love CRs! What's the black part on the front fender where it attaches to the clamps?

It's a cycra "lite" fender. The back of the fender is vented and that little black part is a little air duct, think it's more for looks than anything, run one on my yz

I have an 02 cyl. with aprox. 5 hrs. of run time since new when I took it off the bike in 2005. I kept it as a spare all these yrs., but haven't used it. I also have some trick parts I'm thinking of selling for the 02-07 CR250r's. Send me a pm if your interested.

Found a cylinder and waiting for the call from PC to finish it up .

Suspension is done and coated up . Enzo found some old factory internal pieces so it should be an awesome set up .

Will get some more photos tommorow

The fork color should look pretty close to what they ran back in 06. Cr forks on the left and kashima coloring on the right .

Shock is the bottom shock with kashima coating . I should’ve sanded it smooth but it just slipped my mind .

Few more photos of the suspension .

The fork color looks almost identical to what they ran back in 06. Hard to see it in this photo but hoping once on the bike you’ll see the difference .

Super happy with it now that I’ve seen it in my own hands

Threw some new bearings and races in, sure is nice being able to get races out easy on the 2 stroke , no recessed angled area like the new Crf’s on the steering stem.

some new ride engineering clamps with Ti hardware of course .

I just mocked it up just to get a visual .

The garage is a mess, so don’t mind the back ground .
