I forgot to include Christian Craig.

Bogle, Peick, Tickle, and even Malcolm Stewart. All of these dudes need a ride for next year on 450's. Who would you take? 2 year deal.

Malcolm has some serious potential on a 450, but right now I'd probably sign Tickle.

That's tough. If malcolm did outdoors, I would take him. If malcolm is SX only, I'd go with tickle.

Any word on whether Yamaha will have one more rider besides Reed and Webb?? Or are they just going to be a single rider team outdoors?

I think Dungey will ride 1 or 2 more years and then ride off into the sunset. He's got nothing to prove and has been talking about starting a family. He's a smart dude, with plenty of money to last a lifetime. I honestly hope he leaves on a good note and without a long list of injuries.

They have been talking to Bogle and others, I'm guessing they are at least considering a 3 rider team.

That's understandable, he has been fired and hired back twice since Supercross ended. But one thing that is fact, his new deal says he needs to be top 5 in points if he wants a ride next yer.

Whoa now, you can't drop that little nugget and not elaborate on the firing and hiring part.

The rumor on Dungey retiring is something I've heard from a close friend.

Stewart is in the process of buying a used rig and having it rewrapped.

Now the big question (if the above statement is true) is what bike will they ride? Obviously a Seven MX RedBull deal etc. I could see JS7 going back to Kawasaki

I still think the Stewart brothers will be on red bikes with help from Pro Circuit!! Mookie loves the Honda, and James is probably close to retiring anyways!!

All of this speculation is funny isn't it!!!! lol

Sounds to me like Deano really didn't know where he'd be on Pulp this week. I am sure he wants to stay put but it didn't sound like he's holding a contract.

The Webb/Martin deal isn't only who is better indoors - I think Webb made his stock sail sky high last summer on that 450. Definite proof-of-principle that he is not going to struggle on the bigger bike and he was strong under pressure against some of the best in the world. I don't think you can say any of that about JMart.

Also seems to me that there was a falling out at Star between the Martin bros and the team. Don't know why, but it's been alluded to a few times.

Very! I just laugh at them. But again I read that a rider pulls off for blisters! Or had a couple of "shaky moments" and decided to pull off? Dean went both Motos with superglued knees! Trey 6-6!! Blisters?

The broken back expedited the retirement talk.

Hope it's not true for the simple fact that Vital will explode with all the Roczen fanboys saying he skipped the last year of his contract because he was scared of Kenny.

I sure couldn't blame him a bit. Dungey has nothing left to prove to anybody at all. Frankly, even though I'm a fan...I hope can retire on his own terms to a great life with a beautiful wife & start a family with plenty in the bank.

Interesting that a few teams are fielding extra riders (i.e. more than the usual 1 or 2), only major teams not to is Honda and Kawasaki?

Isn't there a rumor with Monster Yamaha and a new full time third rider? Wonder who gets that spot.

It's weird how people think that J-Mart staying down in the 250 class in 2017 isn't any "controversial".

He is a 2 time and defending 250 outdoor champion. That is the most prestigious title in the 250 class in the world(mx2 has an age limit) and he is going to stay down?

I could maybe, maybe understand if he does the 250 east sx series and tries to win that(Baggett went up without a 250sx regional title) but to ride 250 outdoors aswell? Not a fan of that if we are going to see the 250 class as a steppingstone to the 450 class.
