It's weird how people think that J-Mart staying down in the 250 class in 2017 isn't any "controversial".

He is a 2 time and defending 250 outdoor champion. That is the most prestigious title in the 250 class in the world(mx2 has an age limit) and he is going to stay down?

I could maybe, maybe understand if he does the 250 east sx series and tries to win that(Baggett went up without a 250sx regional title) but to ride 250 outdoors aswell? Not a fan of that if we are going to see the 250 class as a steppingstone to the 450 class.
The deals he was working on to move to the 450's fell apart...he took a great deal on 250's because of it...pretty sure he would rather be moving to 450's.
At least he isn't bragging about breaking records while being on 250's for 7yrs....

Any word on whether Yamaha will have one more rider besides Reed and Webb?? Or are they just going to be a single rider team outdoors?

They have been talking to Bogle and others, I'm guessing they are at least considering a 3 rider team.
I heard that a while ago, but nothing in the last month

I also heard that Star Racing and the Martins had a very large falling out. Apparently Jeremy wanted out of his contract at the end of last year because the people in charge at Star are really difficult to work with. Supposedly both Alex and Jeremy are happy to be leaving the team and John Martin is skeptical as to how only the brothers bikes both blew the same day and basically gave Cooper the only real chance at the championship. Of course this is a "rumor"

Interesting that a few teams are fielding extra riders (i.e. more than the usual 1 or 2), only major teams not to is Honda and Kawasaki?

Isn't there a rumor with Monster Yamaha and a new full time third rider? Wonder who gets that spot.
Bogle would be my guess if true

Sad that apart from a soon to retire Reed there appears to be no other Aussies capable of stepping up.

Yes, Hunter Lawrence is probably next although that seems a couple of years away.

Benny staying at BTO?
Hope so, or hope he can continue with a high level of support. Bloss has shown he deserves the nod for sure. He's been in it!

I have heard of this, about the riders being unhappy with the owner/ management. (Bobby Reagan) Sick
All second hand info with no details, but I'd say there's some truth to it all.
As far as the sabotage... I seriously doubt any of that. Tongue

I haven't head anything about him staying on the KTM, but there is reason to beleive that the BTO KTM team will be the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Team next year.

I haven't heard anything about the 250 team that was mentioned earlier, that's interesting. I'm not going to start any guessing game about it, but the rumors of Yoshimura having a merger or some sort of 250 Suzuki team that will be supported by Suzuki would be a step in the right direction for Suzuki. I know Albertson has his team out there, but the bikes aren't very competitive with the bigger teams. I hope his team can survive next year and hope they can get some bigger involvement from Suzuki. Jimmy has always been a good dude and has taken on a big challenge running that team. Their results have'nt been what they were expecting, they were hoping for some better finishes, between him and Kyle Cunnngham.

I think Dean Wilson would be a good fit for the third spot at Yamaha. Whistling

UpTite has accurate information. Listen closely to what he is telling you. He can't help it if things change, look at the Jmart deal. UpTite is telling you stuff behind the scenes as it is happening....

JMart will be on a 450 for outdoors

All the potential champions stay home and race MXN. Annoying af. Aussie nationals will never match the gps or us no matter how much talent we produce

So Yosh Suzuki is said to be going to be the 250 Suzuki factory team.
RCH is rumored to be closing up shop.
BB4 going to a KTM team.
Stew on his own team with Mookie on red bikes.

So who is going to ride the 450 yellow bike and what team will it be?

Is mookie getting boogles 450?
Not necessarily, it'll be more like the deal Wil Hahn had in 2014. Not under the HRC Honda rig, under the Geico rig.

no decent rides in the 450 class stay on 250s especially when you're 4ft
7/21/2016 12:09am
I just can't believe tha RCH will close up shop considering they will have a Championship winning bike and team vacant at the seasons end.
Almost unbelievable.

Super intelligent comment considering the Yamaha 250/450 share a chassis. I guess you've never seen J-Mart ride a 450, huh?

if bogle goes yamaha as 3rd rider mookie could go to geico sx only and jmart will ride the 450 outdoors.

Yosh suzuki taking the 250 program doesn't necessarily mean they can't field a 450 for james (look at geico honda).

I don't think rch will fold but may look different. I could see them to have tickle and weimer.

wil hahn on tedder kawasaki?

jgr can have peick, barcia and brayton. phil would take braytons spot for outdoors and fill in for sx and brayton is a fill in rider for outdoors.
