Thor 2017

Fly 2018

Point NOT made. If you want to argue colors, don't dare go back to the ol' Fox versus JT days...you'll lose your mind. Then there's the simple fact that the Fly...along with their excellent helmet(!) looks sooooooo much better than that Thor stuff. Btw, I'm pretty sure the Fly pants graphic has more to do with the classic TLD logo wrap than it does to anything from Thor.

you guys get to caught up in what the gear looks like.

not one comment on fit, function, or materials so far.

are you motocrossers or fashionistas?
We're consumers, in a very competitive market. Plenty of high quality gear out there at the same price point that isn't ugly.

At the current top end level gear prices, You can get both. Style and function. Designs and style are part of anything you buy.

Or is it because the only thing we have to judge are photos? Nobody owns this gear, has ridden it.

The only characteristics one can assess at this point is looks.

You know what they say: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...premium gear is not necessary the most durable gear on the market (this a misperseption)... my two cents it all looks and wear great till you put it for the fist time in the washer...

I think this stuff looks excllent. Fly has been pretty impressive with how quickly they've become a Major Player in gear.
Its taken nearly 20 years for them to be a top player. That's not quick! More like a lot of hard work and dedication the way I see it. I remember the first sets of fly gear. I think ocelot was made better and had more style! Lol They have come a long way. I wouldn't mind a set of the flyhouse!

For me, Thor got it right in 2017 by bringing back the velcro adjustable waist for my increasing/decreasing gut.

I can eat a whole pizza just before a moto and my race pants can still fit...

Probably because the gear just came out and 95% of people have no idea how it fits functions or what the hell materials are used..

When will the Fly Sector get some new colorways? I love the pair I bought, but some color would be nice too!

Wow, everytime I see fly gear I am amazed people like it...this gear looks terrible, and so has many of their previous releases....like that disgusting orange kit from last year I think...I just recall pieck with that orange helmet/jersey looking like a big pumpkin. 2019 fly is partnering with Ross and tj max, so be on the lookout for that.
Thanks for your support! Seriously, though, we are going to keep working and hope to change your mind someday. We are in this to win the long game.

its a general comment, unless the words "the gear" translates in your head to "Fly Racing". note that I did not say "this gear".

now, I will address your comment as if did say what you think I said. THEN ASK A FUCKIN QUESTION ABOUT THE GEAR? for chrsits sake, the brand rep is literally right here in this thread.

still, no one asked any questions about the gear.. just comments on the way it looks.... point proven.

Flyhouse
That's pure gold
My personal friendships aside, my first thought was this is a bit of a rip-off.

Light blue and navy have been popular color schemes since fox's 360 gear in 98. Personally some of my favorite color ways. It would be cool to see some companies risk it a little more and throw in some designs on the arms or torso area but the solid stuff is always a safe bet for the masses I suppose.

I'm considering the relaunch/serious effort put in to be a top level competitor in the gear game which seems to have been since somewhere around 2010ish...
