He's been pretty active on his Instagram showing that he is riding and training every day, but zero sign of a Yamaha or any other bikes. Seems to be still riding his same Honda from MEC. So at this point I'd say the Yamaha deal must not have worked out for some reason as it's already been a while since he was rumored to be testing out the blue bike.

They’re not quite sure if Millsaps is for sure out, or if he can make it back.... so they gave JB a tryout and they have that option in their back pocket if need be.

I just hope he will have enough seat time if he goes blue again. otherwise he'll be catching up again for a while.

Barcia looked better on the Honda at MEC even given his miscues than he ever did on that JGR Yamaha...or the Suzuki for that matter.

I sure wouldn't blame him if he took the factory Yamaha ride, but I think he'd fare better on somebody's Honda 450.
He had good signs on the Yamaha. He did beat dungey straight up at redbud. But yeah he had like 3 good rides on the Yamaha lol

Looks like the yamaha track to me... Looks like their layout and I don’t know of any of the other test tracks having palm trees like that. But I could be wrong.

Totally understand why he would take the Yamaha ride, but I was really looking foreword to seeing him on the Honda. Oh well. Best of luck to him either way.

Sounds like he will be a fill in for Millsaps, and perhaps they help him with a bike when he is back... I see no announcement from the team yet though despite Millsaps' injury (and subsequent recovery) being well known.
