That was awesome to see. Smile
Great marketing for the sport.

It's cool Biffle was involved also.
I sold Greg's brother my old pool table years back for his shop.

Biffle came out of the gate like a champ, I thought he was gonna win it.
Bowyer was hilarious and the crowd was loving it.

he had to play to the crowd as he was pretty red in the face...

funny how you "grow up riding dirt bikes" but don't know how to use the front brake...

this was a prime example of new riders entering the sport that end up leaving shortly afterwards...

that could have been super serious and just goes to show you, you can't predict the outcome when ego's are on the line

That was worth the price of admission!

Props to Monster for doing it!

Boyer is obviously a real racer!

The 3 other guys watching/racing was priceless! They were like "what the......"

Never been a Clint Boyer fan but that was just awesome.

Im glad they did it and didn't care about sponsors. It might allow nascar to grow and vice versa.

NASCAR knows they have to get in touch with the youth. Smart of them to reach out this way.

How exciting would drag racing be if they had to make a left turn immediately after the finish line? Kinda wonder what the folks who laid out that contest were thinking. Man that was awesome (since nobody got hurt). Will be pulling for Clint today.

If it happens again there will be a shorter start straight and the line will be after a turn.

After we seen he didn't break his neck we laughed at that. Whoever laid that out and blocked off the turn needs a boot in the ass....lol

I thought thy would put them on 50's.

Bowyers boss for 2017 is laid up and missing the first part of the season for crashing at the dunes. I could not believe the sponsors let them do that but I was sure glad they did. Very entertaining and you could see that all of those guys have spent some time on MX bikes. Biffles jump off the gate was amazing

Ok, so we did a holeshot challenge for you @SupercrossLIVE boys. I'm thinking it's only fitting for you to do the same for us on 4 wheels.

that would be fun to watch, but i wonder who would give up the cars for the MX boys,

They could use "Petty driving experience" cars and do a one lap drag race on a short track. Woohoo

I am still trying to figure out if I should be surprised that the powers that be were stupid enough to put the finish line that far down the course.
3 riders were on the brakes before the finish line, the one rider that wasn't on the brakes going across the line takes a big digger.

NASCAR needs a younger audience. Good marketing by NASCAR.

I'm sure we'll never see Nascar guys riding dirtbikes at a SX again! At the very least the finish line needed to be back about 10-20 yards.
When they chalked that line 20 ft pasted the holeshot sign I told my daughter they are doing that on purpose.

No way they got the skill to drive to that line and get stopped.

Holy shit. That was all I could of as he headed straight for that wall! They certainly could have moved the chalk back about 20 yards or so....Good on Clint though!

4 hours of NASCAR coverage yesterday and they didn't even mention SX or the holeshot deal. Be nice to see NASCAR show some love back.

Should have made them navigate the turn. That would have slowed them down a little bit. Maybe...

They talked a lot about it on the prerace show and on Nascar Raceday. Nascar also has a couple videos of it on their website.

Hi Guys,

Glad everyone enjoyed the #NASCARHoleshot Challenge. That was my project I began about two months ago and it took a lot of work and pulling off some favors within the industry. Mountain Motorsports, Freewheeling Honda, David Izer, Fly racing, Fox racing, HRC Honda for housing Biffle, Oakley, Bell, N-Style, Scott, Troy Lee Designs, Dunlop and especially KTM USA for supplying two bikes and giving Stenhouse Jr. the full factory treatment.

Just a goal and an idea. We had meetings with NASCAR and Feld VP's for a little over a month and everyone worked together. Our PR department made sure the clip made Sports Center, and Big FOX showed it pre race.

My idea was to join the two demographics and it be synergetic. Boy, it sure was.

Danica was so helpful and fun to work with. As was Jimmie Johnson and Kurt Busch.

Just too bad Clint is a mad man and may have spoiled it for next year. LOL!

...but don't count on it. I'm going to try to do it again.

Thanks, guys.
