with the MX1 title wrapped up, and the MX2 all but a formality, the points race in the womans class is very tight
4 riders within 5 points, all hold there own destiny in their hands, win both motos and you are the champ, should be good,
1 85 Van De Ven, N. NED YAM 193
2 151 Duncan, C. NZL YAM 191 -
3 114 Lancelot, L. FRA KAW 190
4 8 Fontanesi, K. ITA YAM 188

Lancelot will retire after that race, too.
Hope Nancy pulls it off after what happened to her in round 1

Tomorrow should be good, all on the line..!
Its just crazy for the championship - if it goes for moto wins Fontanesi would only have two, while Lancelot and Van de Ven would be tied with 3 moto wins..
If it goes for the overall/GP wins - Fontanesi would have two, while Lancelot and Van de Ven would only have 1..
They are also tied on moto wins and GP wins
I hope it rains again. You can't beat a mudder.
If overall wins are the same I believe it then goes to the one with the most moto wins and if that's also tied I think it then goes to the one who had the last moto win.
Highly unlikely scenario to go down to the last moto win. Would be something else to see that's for sure.

That's how Duncan (far right) lost it all in the last lap with a 20s lead...
She had nowhere to go, tried to climb the hill of track, slid and fell (her short stature sure doesn't help) to end up stuck in a fence...
Hard to figure.
"Leading by 15secs on the final lap, 5 riders were crashed which blocked the hill when Courtney arrived. She had to divert off the track to get around them resulting in a crash and getting stuck in a fence.
After a jury meeting immediately after the race, FIM decided they would award points from the lap prior due to the track being blocked and unsafe. We were then called back to the jury and they reversed the decision after seeking legal advice.
Overall she is now 4th & 9 points off the lead with her final race tomorrow. As you can imagine, Courtney and the team are disappointed however she will go out tomorrow and give it her all. Thanks for all your support from around the world and especially our sponsors."
But to be honest Lancelot lost a lot of points in Indonesia in very similar conditions when she got stuck in a giant mudhole, and the FIM jury did nothing either.
