Nice pic! Is it just me, or is that thing super squated down in the back? looks like an extra long linkage lever. I'm about James size and would've given anything to take that bike for a couple laps.
If you go back and watch his videos on the 125, the rear end was really squatted. Like a lot.

I wonder if that's just the way he made the bike work. His 250 looked similar, not as much but similar.

But then you go look at the year he went undefeated on the 450 and that thing looks like its super high in the rear and way stiff.

James sure has some weird setups but what he does has worked for him for the most part.

Probably one of the best Factory 2Strokes ever. Just the discoloration on the pipe is sweet!

Not factory. I saved her from a bad home for cheap and she cleaned up nicely.

Sure is fun spending other peoples money! About to board a plane in Australia and coming to my house for a short stay before heading to its new home. For myself personally it just didn't get any tricker or more exotic than some of the last twin shock open class RC Honda's. Fortunately after tracking this one down I stumbled across another in need of some serious TLC that fit my budget! Looking long neglected, dirty, smelly, homeless and missing a few teeth it was just right up my alley. LOL It's headed this way too. Call me "superpumped".

The lowboy fuel tank doesn't show up too well being blacked out on the lower section.

The older they get, they better they were...

Short of the works bike era, I think any professionally-prepped bike is awesome. Honda's factory bikes will always be about as plain-wrap as they get, to look like production bikes, but they're still amazingly trick. James Stewart's bike? It looks awesome up close. Same for Ryan Villopoto's, Chad Reed's Ryan Dungey's, etc.

While not a works bike by any means it did beat a bunch of them. Still though, it is a "factory two stroke" and does have some neat modifications. Crated up and headed out to its new home. Imagine Husqvarna giving you a box van and a production bike and telling you and your mechanic to "now go win the championship". Against the likes of the powerhouse Honda team no less.
