I'm surprised no one has posted any pictures of the most replicated bike on Vital...

I agree that any professionally built bike looks amazing to me. But there is something special about the trick 2-strokes from past years.

This was always a huge favorite of mine

If you dont mind me asking, how did they keep the powder coat out of the holes for the spokes?

I had my frame done and had to go through a few of the smaller holes and get the powder coat out fo them for some bolts to fit back in them.

I had mine done also, in gloss black. If they only do one coat you shouldnt have a problem. To much powder also will make them heavy. Dont forget to have them mask off the mounting surfaces for the brakes and sprocket. My two cents anyway.

He had some silicone plugs for the rotor bolt threaded holes. We didn't plug the spoke holes.

It's called copper bead blast metallic I think. Matte metallic finish, texture is similar to rough cast aluminum. Looks better and cleans easily.

My 2004 RM250. I think was either Justin Brayton's or Tommy Hoffmasters Motoworld PPG team bike. It still had the suspension on it & 10 way programmable ignition & ti bolts & lots of other good stuff. It was a great bike & handled tremendous.
This was Hoffy's bike. Justin was # 4 that year.
Tommy only rode it twice. He got hurt on it at the opener at des Moines and then raced the final race at Dayton I think.
You are obviuosly friends with "Special" Ed Longacre.

I'm pretty color blind, but I can see the purple. Seeing as purple is just a combo of red and blue, technically I wasn't incorrect Wink
