I'm very partial to that body style. The 1990 color motif on that body style is probably top five most beautiful designs ever to me.

I own a '91and a '92. The '91 has a blown rod bearing, and a cracked frame...the '92 was bought as a parts donor for the '91 when I was racing it. The '92 will ride again...got Race Tech suspension valving and springs for both ends. I also have a really clean '97 RMX250 that presently needs swingarm bearings...got stuff to do this winter :-)

Mine. Not the best photo but all I could find ATM. Never ride anymore. Has RG3 Triple clamps since photo.

Here is mine....06' RC Replica. I've only been able to ride it twice....but this next spring / summer.....she's gona need two rebuilds with as much time as I'm going to put on her. One fun bike!!

I agree but I'm still bitter at Nick because I'm pretty sure I had bike of the month until that thing rocked up with his cone pipe and black swingarm!

I still have the frame, forks and what remains of the motor of this. Snapped the rod and took out the cases / barrel / head / G-box!

Was an '08, & an awesome allrounder! Handled great. Really fun motor. Was good in the sand and did a few hare and hounds on it too.

2006 RM250. Bought it new in '09 as a leftover. It probably only has 12 hours on it, but I don't run an hour meter on my 2-strokes! Smile Gonna ride it a lot more in 2015. Great bike.

Pretty much stock. Pro-Circuit exhaust, jetting, re-valved/sprung fork, and that's it. Stock shock works great with the right settings.

Roost On!

I know it's not as nice as most on here, but I traded a kdx200 to this 97 250 an made a fairly nice bike of it. Sadly I sold it recently.

I paid $120 for this 90 125 with about six original hours on it. Sold it for way way way more than I bought it for.

Pais $80 for this 90 model 80. Sold it too sadly. I love rm's! They have character to me. I guess it's the fact that you always kind of have to finish some of the engineering to get them just right lol.

I wish I could run across a buy or two like that. I would have bought the 125 and used it for a bit before selling, I have been looking for an 1988 Suzuki RM125 to go with my 250 for the last two years but cant seem to find one... 1987 is the closest I have come so far.

Jeffro503: You should have came on down for "Day In The Dirt" That was my first race on the bike, had a blast but my suspension set up was horrible for Glen Helen and the bike beat me up.

It was probably a bit of my fault for only being back on a bike for the last month before this weekend so arm pump whooped me after being off the bike for the last 3-1/2 years but it still was a great time... You and Gamby should make the trek down south and get some riding in on those new two strokes!

Hey Lincoln what paint did you use for side covers. I like that brown mag look. Also how did make engine cases look so good. What did you use for that. Thanks.

Sorry for stealing your thunder buddy but I am shooting for the "Bike Of The Year" honors which I have heard will be awarded with the Vital MX Truck for 2014!!!

I can dream, cant I?

the hubs, PV covers, inner/outer clutch covers, and ignition cover are all powdercoated with a 25% bronze (very dull) then there is another 10% clear gloss reducer on top of that that gives it just a little texture.

there's no secret to the cases. elbow grease, brass brush.

Considering a late model 125 actually. Since I lost my bike to the criminal element I think I'll just do a budget build 125 and try to qualify for LL's in 50+ next year.

Will do Manny! I will get through this mess we call Christmas and start shopping around after the new year. I plan on having it in the kitchen so I can work on it while watching the SX season.

I'm on my 2nd 06 RM 250 and have got an 07 RM 125. My 12 RMZ 450 has about 30 hours on it and I should sell it...I'd just rather ride the 2 strokes.

Raced every RM every year from 92 to 99 and 03-14. Through the RM cups...the good scholar programs...double contingency deals, free ride at Tony D Schools Suzuki was awesome.

Loved all my RM 250s...even the mid 90s...loved the conventional forks in the later 90s and the 05 and up are just awesome motocross bikes!

Brass brush? What is that? Is it on a Dremel or something?
