I know the gate hasn't even dropped at A1 yet, but seeing how good Marvin Musquin looked at MEC, and with the confidence boost that undoubtably is for him...and how Eli Tomac ended his night...

How many think Marvin Musquin has what it takes to dominate Eli Tomac & win the 2018 Supercross Championship?

I think Roczen wins. But here is my bold prediction: I wouldn't be surprised if Musquin beats Tomac.

He has a shot but dominate? No. Eli was on his way to check out before the red flag. Kenny will be back and will win races, too.

Musquin and Tomac are inconsistent. Roczen might not have most wins this year but beats them.

Let's wait till we have a real SX track with whoops. Fortunately for Marvin there are none at MEC but it's no secret he struggles there especially when they are big.

Him and Tomac both have some consistency issues to work out.

Why not? Eli will do what he always does, fold under pressure at key moments. Should be an interesting year.

Tomac had a bad start to the season but other than that he wasn't inconsistent.
Maybe inconsistent compared to Dungey, but he finished 1 or 2 in 12/17 rounds.

I really have no clue how good Roczen is gonna be.
Right now I would pick Musquin over Tomac.

I don't think any one rider is going to dominate, I think Marvin finishes ahead of Eli though.

Tomac will have the most wins. I'm almost to the "stamp it" point with that.

He will win I think. He's gotta be the favorite. No way can Tomac handle the championship pressure for 17 rounds.

I'm thinking yes but dominate no. MC2 is the definition of dominate.

If Kenny is 90% of what he was last year, he's your guy. Look at the way Eli and Marvin treated the outdoor title like it was hot potato.

Cooper Webb is my dark horse. He's tough and knows how to win a title. I also predict he will be the old Cooper Webb from his 250 days.

No need to run the races - lets save time & money, Musquin is the champ.

Personally I don't see Webb ever winning a 450 title.

I hope Roczen can come back competitive, but missing a complete season is hard enough let alont recovering and learing to ride with the limited movement he has will make it very doubtful. I think the season will be between Tomac and Marvin. Although I am an american and would like an American to win I think Marvin has to be the favorite due to his starts. I just hope that the championship goes down to the last race. Let the best man win!

It's funny that a recovering German and an on-fire Frenchman are going to rule our SX series this year; or I suppose you could call it irony for the "American's-are-better-because-they-do-supercross fans!"

I'm guessing its gonna be very close between Marvin, Kenny & Eli. Hopefully this year we can get some racing that will take us back to the days with RC and JS7 battles. With these three, I'd say we have a good chance of that.

Based on what I have seen from Musquin almost every single season...he won't win the championship. He can't go through a season without an injury.

You really think he found something in the past 5 months that allowed him to gain significant speed and consistency on Eli?

Anderson will be too aggressive and either get docked a few spots, peak too early, or crash out.

Tomac will win a ton of races, probably have his flops/mechanicals... but still the wins will push him to win.

Roczen is unknown but that along might weigh on him and reduce his confidence.

Mark my words...Baggett will finish the season higher than Musquin...

If you're going to set your time machine to the competitive days, forget about the 2 man battles of RC4 and JS7. How about going back to the early 80's when it was a 5 or 6 man battle? Johnson, Lechien, Bailey, Wardy, O'Mara, Hanson, Bell, Barnett, etc.. Man those were the days!

I'm shocked people are still on the Webb band wagon. Anderson and Wilson are better picks at winning a 450 title.

Didn't you see Tomac checking out b4 the restart? Most SX tracks don't have a 50mph sweeper like Las Vegas

Marvin Musquin - Age 27 - 2 career 450SX wins
Ken Roczen - Age 23 - 11 career 450SX wins
Eli Tomac - Age 24 - 13 career 450SX wins

All this talk about Roczen winning the title. Is it even confirmed yet that he's good to go and lining up for the 2018 season?

I thought SX was out and MX 2018 was the goal.
