So how and why did you choose the username you have? Did a post like this years ago and it was very interesting to read about them, Fresh Top End is the best one I remember for the meaning of it.

Because I don take this all that serious and i know lots of stuff but got banned for calling someone a gossipy cunt hence the over again because I had to sign up again with a new email.

Fresh top end takes the cake though. Because it would be cool even if it was just about his old smoker.

Welp....my name isn't Eddy.....but my name does start with an E.
I was born in Trenton New Jersey and had a sort of a Joe Pesci accent and style of talking when I was younger (6-12) and often used profanity and other very harsh vocabulary, often.I moved to the NW at the age of 6. I used to practice with my cousins and a couple really fast NW riders who were on 80's at the time and became national pros later. Well obviously I was on a little 50 and much slower then them. They just started calling me FastEddy.....because I talked like a gangster and rode much slower then them. If that makes any sense at all. So I signed up at MotoNews and just started using the name, that was an old nickname. Then I started using it on here.
And the reason I spelled it with a "Y" rather then an "ie"...is because it isn't my real name.

Well, after months and months of compiling a list of usernames. I decided to just use my first name and last name initial. And then I thought it would be really original to add my racing number from my old BMX days.

LOL man...
I was thinking about when you were checking into the Hilton suites at Anaheim1 back in 2000-2001ish...and the lady at the front desk thought you were giving her a fake name, that you had just made up off the top of your head. LOL Laughing

GrapeApe was a dumb nickname given to me in college, and for some reason it just stuck. A few months back I ran a google search looking for a picture for my profile, and to my surprise I found out grape ape is also a potent strain of marijuana. Just to be clear my nickname stems from a character in an old TV show, I am not a hopeless pot head so proud of my place in life that I named myself after my preferred strain of marijuana Smile

The k stands for kickass. Except it's silent so I guess that kind of defeats the purpose.

Me and a friend used to play shooters a lot together online. His name was Shredded_Face and mine was what you see now. After using it as a handle for MX vs ATV on the PC and having it in the forums for the game it's just kind of stuck. Usually when someone's talking to me they just refer to me as aFACE though.

I ski at Mary Jane (named I believe after a local prostitute)

1. the Jane
Short name for the Mary Jane Ski Resort in Winter Park, Colorado. Since its construction in the 1970's, the Mary JaneSki Area has been referred to as simply The Jane.

Known for it's blistering bump runs and killer tree skiing, the Jane is a popular day ski resort for skiers and snowboarders living on the Front Range of Colorado. Only one and a half hours of driving time from Denver, Colorado.
Let's drive up to ski The Jane today and see if our knees explode after some laps on the bump trails. If the bumps kick our ass, we'll go ride the trees and hit some fresh pow.

Don't remember how I thought of it, but was unique and somewhat moto related. Oddly enough my user name actually resembles a phonetic pronunciation of my last name. BTW I currently ride a cow-e and haven't owned a Yami since '86.

After i got hurt i started doing a lot fo wrenching on bikes and got into off road racing in Honda Oddessy's and then my Pilot. We were out riding at this place in Watsonvile called Sticks, its a sandy whooped out river bed and a friend said i bet if you held it pinned you could get on top of the whoops in my oddessy just like a bike, i tried and it was so "out of control" it was sick, my buddy Stan goes, dude that was so "OC" and that is where OC started, then i called my shop "OC Racing" and was known as ocscottie since then, that was in 1987 or 88.

Here is the original OC Racing logo that a friend hand painted back in the day. (shity cell phone pic)

and here is the newer one that Brain (from DMXS) made when i had my MCM2 team OC Racing

I went with the character on the Simpson's a long time back where a biker gang came into town and kidnapped Marge. She tried to clean them up and then Homer had a wicked fight with their leader (John Goodman) to win her back. His second in comand was a burnout named Ramrod.

I am nothing like that guy but it was a funny episode.

Rock on...

I kid, I kid. Not sure how I thought of it, but I've used it as a gamertag since the late 1980's. Excite Bike rules!

It's a long story, actually...but suffice it to say, I needed a username....I looked out my office window and there was a Nissan Titan stopped at the stop light. It sounded good....so I used it.

First letter of my first name, then the first five letters of my last name, and finally the day I was born. Also one of my many nicknames that people call me (minus the 21 of course).

Home province + BRP motor type designation of motor I had in my sleds for going on 20 years.

(I started out on a sled forum way back whenever - had to come up with something...)

Mine is a nickname I got after listening to the Bob Marley song 'Jammin' as a teenager. My name is Ben but I was christened Benjamin, one day some kid at school started calling me 'Jammin' which later became Jamma. It just stuck for some reason. Number 10 was my first ever race number when I was a kid.

i got the nickname when i was 15. was loading my bike into my truck (grew up in the sorta-country) when a few little kids came over to check out my shit. one of them asked me if i could peel out and my buddy told them that was all i knew how to do, so they asked me if i could peel out for them.... so i did about a 20 second peel out in my driveway. they were thrilled, my mom, not so much. i also used to be able to do a pretty sweet peel out on my mountain bike
