The King of SX.
Why is that so refreshing to watch compared to most vids of todays champs, and the chasing the dream wannabe champs?
Seriously, that is pure fucking class, PF awesome.

Kickass! Luke (BlurOpticsProd) i think got some footage also.

Really dig that DC gear, and call me stuck in the 80's and 90's but i love day-glow colors, the helmet, fully badass!

Damn, that bike looked a bit beat, and sounded a bit crappy as well? Rear tire even missed some knobbies and front tire had like 100 hours on it! Dry

Cool of MC to take it for a spin though! Cool

For those that didn't catch the post, MC was the guest on Loveline a few weeks ago.

It's not everyone's cup of tea, but there's actually quite a bit of moto talk that went on. Tons of the callers just called in to praise and ask MC moto questions...including his views on 2t vs. 4t.

There were also some gems (sarcasm) such as, "uh, hey MC, you're like my hero...and, uh...do you have any advice on how I can keep railing my girlfriend when I'm hurt?". Blink

I called in to throw MC some moto-related stinky-pinkys (It's a word game they do every show), but got put on hold (after 30+ attempts) for 40 minutes before being told to call back the next night as they ran out of time for a second round Pinch

I grabbed the archived show from the member site and uploaded it elsewhere (ssshhhh), so if anyone wants to listen here's the mp3....

Too bad It wasnt a SX track. PALA seems like it has more stupid whoops than the BAJA 1000. The 5 or 6 jumps were cool.

Watch that then watch any recent videos of him on a 450. He looks absolutely AT HOME on the 2 stroke.

Oh my God.

Yeah, he looks way more at home on that clapped out, worn out knobbied, 6+ year old stock 2-stroke than he does on his factory Honda 450. I mean, his job is to test parts for the most advanced race team so he and the team have the absolute best of the best, but really what they need is a fleet of stock, clapped out 2-strokes.

I'm all about 2-strokes and think they're fun and affordable for the casual rider, but how on earth do you get this delusional? Open your garage door and let all the 2-stroke fumes out, it's starting to cloud your judgement a bit.

Relax buddy.

All I mean to point out is that he's a lot looser in the air. He flicks that 2 stroke around with style. He doesn't do that much on the 450. He even said himself in the video that it's easier to "style" it.

EDIT: Also, not saying he'd be faster on the 2 stroke either (why would he?). He just looks more comfortable in the air on it to me.

EXACTLY what I was gonna say. Bike looked SUPER slow. No drive out of the corners. 90mph winds, a bike with 15 year old technology, and a burned out dusty track? Not very fun.

Still awesome to watch MC.....but some of you would cream your jeans watching a video of him taking a dump. Calm down.

Ah the fans of the sport and the tards have made themselves clear as day in this thread. "Oh, look at his shitty tires!!! That bike is slow. How lame of him to ride it. I jump the triple at the local track you know. It's gay that he is riding a bike that requires talent to keep his speed up around corners." (Yawn) Thanks for the great video. Long live the King!

Was wondering the same. And if he is so good, why does he have such a high national number? Looks like he is a RV2 fan!

1. If that's his "Step-Up" bike, it's probably pretty damn stiff.

2. There's a new TLD-MC helmet coming.

3. He was taking it really easy. His laps on the 450 are quite...different.

4. That video is just another thing that's pushing me to build another 250.

5. He is the real #2...jus' ask him.

I won't buy it unless he includes the stand.
