Imagine that thing when the rear end breaks loose and it gets a little (lot) sideways.

The only thing that would make it more comical would be to put ape hangers on it.

I'll be the weird one--I think it's beautiful. Impractical, yes. But I know what it would sound and smell like and I'd like to rev the engine on main street one night around a crowd of v-twins.

When I got back into Vintage\Evo bikes in 2000, I was on the Maico Brohters web site.

I asked a question about my 82' 490 Maico & got a call from the Gentleman that built that 3 cylinder Maico.

He sent me tons of information on setting up the Maico engines & some other Maico tricks.
