Whoa whoa whoa boss before you clip the thread. Let's give it a chance and see what happens. The purpose of the thread is for others to only provide input centered around the Vegas shooting. It's not intended for opinions on current laws or wanted improvements to laws. However, I think opinions on the shitty situation can be accepted by the majority.

For people like me who only read the USA today, Fox news, and local news, this thread welcomes any confirmed new updates pertaining to the horrible event that took place. The previous thread really kept me up to date from sites I have never heard of.

Boss, click away if you do not approve.

Not my style either.

Soon after the CIA was created by Truman, they began running amuck. The CIA really being a creation of Prescott Bush and his Yale skull and bones buddies back in the 40s. Truman in his later years began writing letters to newspapers saying the CIA was out of control, soon suppressed by Allen Dulles (check out this dude some time).
In a nutshell, the CIA took its anti-communist message a bit too far, and took over US foreign political and military policy-after WWII through supporting rebel groups in Communist countries or counties headed that way (Vietnam, Chile, Honduras, and many others).
Bush Sr. (director of CIA in 1976) took over to clean up the agency's image after the Church hearings in the 70s exposed CIA was overthrowing governments, assassinating people, distributing LSD in San Franscisco, and the especially sinister MK Ultra program. Angleton and CIA Director Richard Helms in the 70s flat out told Congress they would lie to protect the CIA. Helms was actually charged with perjury for lying to Congress. He was represented by a CIA-friendly law firm, Edward Bennett Williams, who somehow also ended up defending John Hinckley. That is because Bush (or elements from the Bush's massive network) arranged that.
Keep in mind that deception is the CIA's number one trade, along with killing people and geopolitical hijinks. It very well could be that Trump is the outsider who has finally come in to change this and that is why the political/corporate/media establishment is working so frantically to remove him.

The theory that he might have been a CIA pilot smuggling arms explains his mysterious personality, the wealth (gambling expert? ha ha), the foreign connections, the access to such an arsenal, and many of the incredibly strange aspects of this case.
(Or he could just be another crazy dude and we need some gun laws!)

He made his money from real-estate. He bought his guns in a period of 30 years. All his guns were bought legally. Just like Newmann. Why is it shocking? Why do you need a different explanation. Is Newmann CIA? That would explain things, lol.

You believe even 1% of that?

Ever since the OJ trial, it's been proven that if you throw enough crap on the wall, people will get confused and believe some of it.

And people wonder why I clip stuff.

They keep trying to figure out the shooters motivation. His motivation was insanity. Like somehow if a person can just get motivated enough they go and shoot hundreds of people. I think they can't appreciate how insane that is. There is no figuring it out.

There you have it- thank you. Just like Oswald, Sirhan Sirhan, James Earl Ray, Mark David Chapman, John Hinckley and every other famous assassin ever, in the history of America. They were all crazy- end of story. I feel better now, knowing those benign federal intelligence agencies and politicians are protecting me and my family.
I'll pull the link btw.

I admit to being bored. But I'll take boredom over sucking on internet bullshit for hours and ending up with a brand new brain every other day.

If you really have to have a theory on this guy's motive, then Mr. G 's would be a good start.

Either more and more of America has become more and more dummerer over the last several years, or maybe I have just become that much smarterer. To be honest I didn't really realize it until I joined facebook about 2 years ago. It's rampant there. Sure, I saw a lot of it here over the years as well but we are dirt bikers and I can totally understand it here.

Well I gotta say, its been a rough week here. This was put outside where I work by some of the people that live here in Vegas. I figured I would put something positive on here about what has happened in my city. I wish it didnt take such a horrible event to bring people together, but I am happy at least in these times we hopefully can all get along and respect one another.

Because 1 supposed man did it. Does that make it worse than multiple people doing murders in smaller fatality counts but in situations across the world that are daily occurrences and number higher in total deaths weekly?

One guess at his motive- The shooter wanted to indefinitely "harm" Las Vegas's image. For whatever reason he was angry with the casinos. Perhaps he wanted them to lose financially like he may have while gambling.

This shooting will forever leave a somber mark on Vegas and it has no doubt cost them millions in lost revenue over the past week and going forward.

For example- His previous lawsuit was clearly an attempt to financial hurt a casino or extract some revenge.

This was his ultimate revenge..
