Hello! New to Vital but I wanted to share my experience racing my first ever series, vlog style. At first I've kept my progress somewhat private but during the season I have been approached by many people who enjoy watching my videos and others that don't participate but also like the content. A number of people have also expressed interest in racing and/or poker runs the NMA (Northwest Motorcycle Association) has to offer after watching my vlogs. I think this is awesome and the more people interested in the Off-Road scene the better... it is already a small community compared to MX/SX.

You can either check out my vital blog entries and watch the videos from there and read about each round OR for those that don't care to read and prefer watching, I'll post the vlogs of each round here. Nothing professional here so try to keep the negativity to yourself, I'm really just offering an insight into racing a series and what the different venues offer for riding. BTW my grammar and spelling are terrible, bear with me.

It begins here:

Nice work man! Rimrock is the bees knees!
Hell yeah, Rimrock is the reason why I went and purchased a bike. I really enjoy that race.

Fun videos to watch. Are you going to try any of the Team Tortoise series this year?

I am going to try to make a few of the rounds this year, I'd like to hit all of them if I can.

Right on! Introduce yourself if you see me around in the pits. Or if they only time you see me is while passing me, give me a wave or hello Laughing

I saw your team Tortoise video. Bummer about the crashes. My family and I went over and raced as well, what a gnarly, but fun course. I rode Sportsman, the turnout was pretty awesome in all he classes.

Nice! I should probably start another thread for the 2018 Offroad Racing, maybe when I find some time, been swamped with racing these past couples weeks with the NMA and doing the NORCS. I was very impressed with the turn out, Team Tortoise has their shit together, I like what they offer. Man that course was rough towards the end. When I finally kept myself off the ground all my lines disappeared... go figure. I'm hoping I have a better performance for the next round Blink

Come find us next round, looks like you have at least one child from your pic... my daughter needs some play pals. We've just started meeting a few people and familys, makes these races a better experience for the whole family. If I can keep the other half of my family happy they'll let me keep racing Smile

I will try and find you guys next race. I have 2 kids, a boy and girl ages 6-5. We will for sure be at the next Team Tortoise race at Motowest, that race is only 20 minutes from the house so that is sweet. The trails are really fun. I think I may ride long course and ride 30+A. We shall see, would love to hook up and do some riding.

Btw, do you follow Square D photography, he got some great pictures from Horn. Here is a sample picture of me from there, he really is a phenomenal photog.

Sounds good! I too look forward to Motowest as its fairly close to me as well. Between the NORCS and NMA I'll be there three times this year, nice that it is close. When I get a break from racing we'll have to go burn some pre-mix somewhere local.

I do follow Square D, there was some amazing photos taken from Horn Rapids. I see he caught a good one of you!

Your grammar or spelling could be terrible but your riding skills are outstanding. Best of Luck for the future!
