A 20 year collection of shots showing What Not To Do is here. Starting off is Rick Johnson "Too Hip" doing a flip into these Saddleback spectators.

I love it... especially when the track markers are the spectators having a few cold ones. Can you imagine that today? LOL... keep them coming Tom. You probably have one of me in your 20 year collection. Thank you for the memories.

How many here graced those pages? I know I was in at least one around 80' or so.

I miss those Crash and Burn issues. Why did they stop printing them?

A Crash 'n Burn photo that stands out to me was a picture of a rider landing on top of another and you can just barely see the rider below. I cringe when I see that pic. The photographer had the perfect angle because he was looking down at the crash. One of the riders in the picture now has a slideshow on Youtube. I've seen it before but now I can't find the link.... Is this too vague?? Just asking.

One of the best photo's is this guy crashing at a mud race head first and all you can see is his legs and middle the rest is under the mud spraying into the air!

Wow, I can see the whites of your eyes as well!

Here is the link to the slideshow that I posted about earlier.

Has the picture of the rider landing on top of another. I think I was scared to go over any blind jump after seeing that picture. May still be.

This could be considered as a burn shot. Here this Elsinore burns it's way through the mud bog with a little help from some rope pulling friends. Saddleback wasn't hard packed clay on a rainy day!

Been there. I remember going over a blind jump in Quincy Ill. I'm about 4 feet in the air and see nothing but bikes down on the other side. Brakes don't work worth a damn at that altitude but I sure locked'em up.

And No I didn't save it.

This Saddleback pile-up finds Mark Milazzo on the bottom of it all.

Where was the track in Quincy Il? I lived there for a few years in the early 90's and worked at Mid West Performance & TNT.

This was the early 70's and I really can't remember where it was located.. I was living up the river in Burlington at the time.

A bike sure goes faster without a rider on it! In this case that happens to be Chris Heisser at Saddleback.

Looks like Rick Maki had the same luck over this set of Saddleback jumps.

This start took out half the competition in a mid-eighties World Mini Grand Prix at Las Vegas.

Looks like '86! Man, what a pile-up. I wonder if #55 is Jon Garner from Broken Arrow Oklahoma. If this is 125 novice it probably is him.

I like your Carlsbad '79 crash the most.

Yeah, that's the one, Racer 92. Bauer, did that one hurt? Kind of looks like it might have.
