Yz250 coolant leak

My 01 yz250 drips coolant when I pour it in and I start kicking it and when I get it started it like pours out but idk we're .. what can be causing this

Cause is a gasket not sealing. Youll have to find it and check it out for more info.

Check to see if the coolant is coming out a small hole under the water pump on the engine side cover. If so then your water pump needs a rebuild. Also check your radiator cap as it may be worn out.

Check to see if the coolant is coming out a small hole under the water pump on the engine side cover. If so then your water pump needs a rebuild. Also check your radiator cap as it may be worn out.

I thought the weep holes were only on 4 strokes?

They do. Usually when the inner gasket fails.

Rebuild kits are somewhat cheap.

Rebuild kits are somewhat cheap.
We will be working on a YZ250 right after we finished installing the new tires, forged wheels and the brake job on the current truck project. A rebuild kit seems a better option for this bike.
