Well, Chris, Jeff, Rob and a several others worked hard to design and build a new track at the Fort Dodge fair grounds and they had their first race Sunday. Looked like a nice turn out and I saw a lot of familiar faces racing. The track was full of obstacles from big table tops, doubles, and whoops that made it tough for all. The crew ran the races very smoothly. No injuries, and the medical crew was only called out once, I believe.
The track help up pretty good, and I was told to expect it to get better as they find some mulch and sand to help the track hold moisture better. Their are plenty of bleaches on three sides of the track for easy viewing of the whole track. And lots of good level parking making for a nice pit area. I give the whole works a thumbs up!!!
Anyhow i was snapping away and got some pretty good shots. I'll share some today and then I will sort thru the rest and post some more later this week, so be sure to check back.
The A class start was intense to so the lest, serious bar banging!
450 A class winner, Gavin Faith.
A little left turn right turn from Kurtis, he was 2nd behind Gavin.
Matt was in the hunt too, he ran 3rd in several motos.
B class was a tight race too, Hood and Breeden put on one heck of a moto!
They were just flat out jumping over the small table top jump.
The C class start looked good, but...............
It had a small pile up after the 3rd jump. So a restart was called.
C class moto winner
85 CC class was loaded too, Austin Anderson, Justin Wallace, Iziah Clark, Tayler Grall. Man them kids are fast.
Austin really had the confidence thing a going and won all his motos. Been up north training and it looks like its paying off.
Well its getting late, I will continue to sort and edit more photos and post them as soon as I can!!
