Kyle Chisholm Injury Update 1

Vital's Take: Kyle Chisholm had a rough crash at San Diego and was not able to finish the main event. We weren't really sure what kind of injuries he sustained in the crash, but he's now said that he received a concussion and a dislocated shoulder. This is a huge bummer for Kyle and the whole Rocky Mountain ATV/MC team. We wish him a speedy recovery!
Kyle Chisholm: Front of my arm - back of my arm - and underside of my elbow with & without bandage I know everyone has been waiting on an update but I have been too. I had an MRI scan done today and now I'm just waiting on the report to know exactly what's going on and what the recovery process will be. Hopefully have an answer by tomorrow morning and I'll update as soon as I can. Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, and well wishes! In the semi race I clipped a tuff block on the landing of a jump causing me to endo into the face of the triple. I guess a couple riders also ran me over up the takeoff. But I'm blessed it wasn't worse. Walked away with a concussion, dislocated shoulder (which was popped back in in the asterisk truck), some stitches, and soreness all over. I've never dislocated my shoulder so it's new to me. Hoping there wasn't too much damage but we'll know more with the MRI results. Thankful to have a great group of people behind me in my corner with @britneychisholm11 , friends and family, the @rmatvmc team, all their supporters and my personal sponsors.

Vital's Take: Kyle has released another update with more information.
Kyle Chisholm: UPDATE: hey guys.. We got some answers today on the shoulder and I just wanted to update everyone on my injury. Unfortunately it looks like I will need surgery to repair the damage of dislocating my shoulder. I also have a fracture in the upper part of my humerus that doesn't require surgery. My surgery is scheduled for Friday. This is never the plan and I'm super bummed as I have been busting my butt and loving my new bike and team. I'm shooting to be back for the second half of SX and all of outdoors and I can't wait to be back out there. In the meantime I can't thank all of you for the support. All the texts and calls Britney and I have been getting and all your comments and tweets. Means a lot! I really am blessed it wasn't worse and I'm going to take the time off to bust my butt rehabbing and spend some time with baby girl who's coming very soon! Can't thank my support group enough.. @britneychisholm11 for taking good care of me always, my awesome team- Shawn, @rayb1kanobi, @rmatvmc, @doughaskett, @brackenhall, @potter158.. and all of my personal sponsors.
