Two-time motocross champion Ryan Dungey and Target will host the 2nd annual MN Major River-to-River Ride, with 100% of donations and registration fees benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Cyclists can choose between two routes (62 miles or 20 miles), joining Dungey and Target to ride for a good cause along the St. Croix and Mississippi Rivers.

The spirit of the MN Major comes from its co-founder, Dungey. After losing his grandmother to cancer in 2005, Dungey dedicated his motocross career and much of his charity work to helping find a cure.  As a Minnesota native, he worked with longtime partner Target to create the cycling event, collaborating with sponsors Fox and Skullcandy to combine his hometown roots with a passion for cycling and charitable contribution.

“I make my living riding Motocross and Supercross, but the satisfaction I get from putting this ride together is immeasurable,” said Dungey.

The ride takes place the day after Dungey is set to compete at Spring Creek in Millville, Minn. as part of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.  Dungey is currently in 2nd place in the season standings.
