Press Release

Carmichael / Fonseca / Hart / Wey / Weigandt / Pingree Tonight on DMXS

What can be said about Ricky Carmichael that has not already been said? I know for a fact that Chuck Norris wears RC pajamas to bed and that pretty much says it all. We are all fortunate to be fans during his amazing career and ascent to the top. When RC does eventually retire completely, it is certain that he left the sport a better place. Even though he did not win the ESPY this year, he has a lifetime DMXSPY sitting on his mantle in Florida and the GOAT seems just fine with that.

The sport has wrapped its collective arms around Ernesto Fonseca since the injury that left the popular Costa Rican paralyzed. The love and support he has received since his accident speaks volumes about the man he is off the bike. Ernie has maintained the same strong will and determination to succeed that had him as one of the elite MX riders in the world. Ernie will be attending the national this week in Colorado and checked out the Dew Action Sports Tour in Denver last weekend. His spirit is inspiring as he embarks on the next chapter of his life and we are so glad that he will be able to join us tonight.

Carey Hart has come a long way since his days in amateur and professional motocross. As one of the true pioneers in FMX, Carey has skillfully parlayed that into the American Dream. He has starred in The Surreal Life, and his own show Inked, all while opening a very successful tattoo parlor in Vegas. You can check it out here at: www.hartandhuntingtontattoo.com Carey never forgot his roots in MX, and we look forward to catching up with him tonight.

Tricky Nicky Wey has a cult following here at DMXS so we thought it was time to bring the native Dewittian back on. The Michigan Mafia privateer finds himself top five in the points halfway through the outdoor season. Nick turned some heads this year in Supercross and continues to impress with his consistency outdoors. We will find out what Nick has lined up for next year.

Jason Weigandt has been making his normal rounds throughout the country as our Teen Beat reporter and he has plenty to talk about tonight. Weege will break down both classes thus far and add his insight to the epic battles that await at Loretta Lynn’s in a few weeks.

WWR welcomes on Cernic’s Jay Weller as the Most Improved Privateer from Unadilla. Jay will receive a check for $500.00, sponsored by Dana K. Business Parks. Power to the Privateer!
