Chad Reed Finishes in Second Place in the 2007 AMA Supercross Championship

Las Vegas, Nevada – March 7, 2007 - L&M Racing's Chad Reed finishes in second place in the 2007 AMA Supercross Championship points standings.

Chad Reed wrapped up his 2007 AMA Supercross season with a second place finish at the season ending Las Vegas race, ensuring a second place finish in the 2007 AMA Championship Supercross points standings. This was in addition to the second place in the World Supercross GP points standings Reed already won. Reed’s season was highlighted by a win in San Diego where he rode to victory in front of a sold out Qualcomm Stadium.

While his supercross season is over, the racing is not as Chad will return home to Australia and contest a national motocross round for the first time in 3 years on May 20th. Then it will be back to the US where Reed will compete in a couple of AMA Nationals before preparing for X Games this August. Chad will be competing in both the Supermoto and the newly added Supercross events at the X Games. The supercross star is heavily favored to medal in both events so make sure and tune in August 2 when the X Games gets underway!
