2017 Returning Champions

Lynden, WA (January 28, 2017) - The FMF/RPM/KTM Racing Team Maxxis is excited to announce our returning champions for the 2017 season. We gladly welcome Eric Yorba, Ty Tremaine, Dante Oliveira and Jesse Ansley back to the team and are proud to introduce our latest XC-1 racer, Chris Bach.

"Our team is stronger than ever this year, and I believe each of our returning champions will be vital leaders on our team", says Team Owner, Mike Hurlbert. "We're bringing more riders to the GNCC Racing Series this year, I'm excited to see our team work together as we branch into new races. We're ready to put those FMF/RPM/KTM Racing Team Maxxis bikes with our KLiM Athletes up front in 2017!"

ERIC YORBA

After a string of victories late in the 2016 series, Yorba took a commanding win for his second AMA Big 6 Grand Prix Championship. This long-time RPM racer returns for 2017 in the Big 6 and WORCS Pro divisions.

TY TREMAINE

This Nevada young gun took home the EnduroCross Junior Championship for the second year in a row in 2016. Tremaine also placed third overall in the Pro EnduroCross points. He looks to stake his claim in the GNCC XC-2 division as well as the EnduroCross Pro class.

JESSE ANSLEY

In his first year on big bikes, Ansley took home the 200A GNCC Championship with 12 wins in 13 attempts. He's jumping up to the 250 A division this year and expects to return to the podium.

DANTE OLIVEIRA

After 2 titles and a near perfect 2016, Dante Oliveira is set to join the RPM Racing Team for the next 3 years. He will race the WORCS Pro 2 and AMA Big 6 expert events in 2017 aboard the versatile KTM350XC-F and looks to carry his success into this year.

CHRIS BACH

The RPM Racing Team is proud to welcome Chris Bach for 2017. A proven GNCC race winner, Bach brings years of experience an expertise to the team. He aims to be a title threat in the XC-1 championship.
