DUNLOP WINS IN THE BRIDGESTONE ARENA!!

The TiLube/Jack Links/TUF racing team was back to its winning ways, but it was a little harder this week.The track crew built one nasty set of whoops and Jace struggled for the first time this year in his heat race with a “season worst” 4^th after getting yet another hole shot. 

Ben, on the other hand, made quick work of the section and finished first in his heat, setting the fastest qualifying time to get first pick in the main event. We made some suspension adjustment for Jace and were ready for the main.

The first main event started off well with Ben in 2^nd and Jace in 5^th. Last year’s champ Gavin faith was leading. Ben hooked on to Gavin’s rear fender and the pair left the rest of the field. In what was a text book race Ben followed Gavin for 13 laps and then blasted past him in the whoops to take his first win of the year.  Jace worked his up to third and both riders were in a great position for the overall.

Ben’s bike was perfect, but we made a few more minor suspension adjustments for Jace for the second main event. This time it was Jace getting the hole shot and leaving the rest of the field to take his 7^th main event win of the year and his 4^th overall win of the season. Ben got a unusually poor start and could only work his way up to 6^th on the now very hard to pass on track. That still gave him a 4^th overall.

But it is obvious he will be on the podium sooner than later.
