Try switching to a oil with a lower flash point. That spark arrester might also be what was messing with the jetting since it does mess with flow some.

I didn't ride there yesterday, I was at 3 Palms tho. I'm looking forward to next month and being able to ride cycle ranch more when I move back to San Antonio.

3P main track was awesome today. I just got home a little bit ago. I think Dallas has more tracks tho.

Talking with an engine builder that had my bike on his dyno he was really confident that between porting work and a GET he could pick up 10 hp over stock. I’m not looking for every last hp and have other things to spend money on so I never tried it so ... more »

That’s a solid jetting start then for that range. The Lectron takes away a lot of the hit when you ride it back to back against a tunes makuni. RB designs can cut your stock slide to 5.0 for $25 if you google them.

Yes. It all works well together and there are a lot of bikes running the jetting I have in that thread. You’ll have to try and see if you can get away with it in your area and temps, but try a 500 main. These bikes like big mains and in a 125 that’s ... more »

I was talking about the old spec. fuel the factory teams used. I want to say it was MR2 way before the AMA banned leaded fuels. It was something like $56/gal. Nothing smells like that one did.

U4.4 with any oil is the best. That VP race fuel that race teams used to use in the early 2000's was easily the best smell ever, stupid 4 strokes ruined that for us.

I ran 154 in my 2 stroke and would bottom them off big jumps sometimes. You might have another issue going on in the fork if you’re a big guy and aren’t getting full travel at that pressure. For the record I don’t have any experience with the two setups ... more »

Question regarding the air fork problem, did you have the rear sprung for your weight? I know that if the rear isn’t right it makes the forks terrible on these bikes.
