I still have a perfect lower fork tube I’d sell if anyone wants it.

Correct, TC is just a mellow setting where the ignition is retarded for less aggressive off the bottom. Supposed to keep traction better.

I’ve been using these Ducati straps off eBay. Sometimes you find a bunch of them cheap...

And that’s just a measurement thing? Do you guys recommend crank rebuild and balance or buy all new crank?

New thread Cylinder Work 2/19/2018 6:09 AM

Hey guys, my 125 is on it’s way to 80+ hours. When I rebuild the whole thing, should I have the cylinder redone(replated). If so, who do you recommend? Anyone in Southern Cal? Thanks!

With all your hardware, I’d go to a shop and try them all on. You might have pressure points in different spots. I tried a pair of UFO Recond boots that have an ankle brace built in like a knee brace. I have a set for sale size 9 if you want to try.

The Samco T hose is the best replacement.

I’ve been using the WPS Featherlight for a few years and it’s been very good. Lighter than stock and more power.

Yeah unscrew the large outer cap with a wrench(not the inner cap with 4 holes) drain oil, let it sit upside down for 30 minutes. Refill and tighten the cap.

If I’m just doing a fast oil change, I leave the inner oil. I’ll swap out the outer oil very easy. Whenever factory connection service my forks I have them do everything.

Use good gas and a Matrix funnel with a screen. It’s crazy how much dirt I pick up with my screen. I’m very very OCD with my gas and still somehow find dirt in there..

Not much new other then putting lots of hours on them! I did 39 hours on the 250f. The engine is back at Twisted getting a rebuild. I’ll get her all dialed in for the spring and Mammoth. Working on some new graphic ideas also.
