Oh snap, I think I bought a Vertex just like you suggested, not Wössner? I'm pretty sure the above info was the decider when you told me last year...

You will get many suggestions, mine is just one of them... 1. Stock 2. Wössner Japan or Germany. I made quite a lot of research before buying to my YZ250. If you by accident by a Wössner, ze german before stock, don't cry over it.

The KYB SSS, will they survive for another decade? I love them, and I fear the brave new world of air. Is there anything more you can do to the KYB SSS to make them even better? Odd thing though, I notice my older KYBs (46U) is even plusher and gives ... more »

I hear ya. Tnx for the effort and time though. If my new head cause me further headache, I'll get back to you, shipping is a matter of money, and it's my problem, and I'm sure we could work something out.

It's rather preposterous how we make new things automatically better, when in reality our judgment is often clouded by advertisement. Take a spinn on a 2002 CR125 with those primitive KYBs, compare it to whatever today. It's an eye opener. I tried a ... more »

I saw you initially asked for $35 including shipping? To Sweden? If so, I'm on, despite if the head needs work,

What does resurfaced mean? What would happen if you just put it on?

For mortals, I doubt the supremacy of the SSS. I have an 06 YZ125 with SSS, had an YZ250 with SSS and now an old YZ250 2003 with the old gen single chamber forks. The old ones are actually plusher initially, maybe a bit less resistans on bigger impacts, ... more »

Awesome, one person in his garage takes a beater from 2003 and manages to trump all the OEMs in "I wan't it" factor...

Stil no two strokes? Why didn't they just throw one in for us fanatics? Pretty sure many hoped ofr it, and the rest don't bother if there was one extra bike to choose from. Really don't get it? They don't want to piss of OEMs?

Very late answer, but I had some issues finding out since I have't been riding that much after I bought it, and it was difficult to find out in contrast to my 305 which had a different set up and I took time to figure that one out. In the watch, lap ... more »

Two strokes? It's a game, shouldn't be an issue to have them in? The can even make them competitive!
