Yep.. lots of info on here from when we previously talked this. I have pegs from 2010 YZ250F on both my 2006 YZ125 and YZ250. They are the same height as the originals but much wider and stronger. If you use the 450 pegs they are 5mm lower, depending ... more »

Added reply in a thread Has anyone replaced tech 7, tech 10 soles themselves? 3/20/2018 7:54 AM

I have no idea why guys keep buying these garbage boots. Gaerne soles are absolutely bullet proof even on their cheaper models. And they are also easy to replace, although I don't know anyone who has had to. I've had 6 or 7 pairs over the last 15 yrs ... more »

Yeah, it's amazing the broad definition of "perfect condition" sellers like to throw around.

The pegs that come on the 4-stroke YZ's and the newer 2-stroke YZ's are wider than the stock ones on the 2011. I have the wider OEM ones on my 2006 YZ's. I like them because they are cheaper than most aftermarket pegs and I don't really prefer how most ... more »

The forks are twisted in the clamps. Kick the front tire and if that doesn't work loosen the clamps up, straighten them, and retighten.

Sand the rotor, rinse with brake cleaner, let it air dry and try not to touch the swept area with your fingers or get brake fluid on it.

Added reply in a thread Need help 2002 Honda cr 125 3/17/2018 10:08 PM

Did you recently have the cylinder off? Does it have the extra coolant drain bolt on the left side of the cylinder? If you don't remove that bolt and drain it coolant will drop into the bottom end when you pull the cylinder up. Then when you try to start ... more »

Added reply in a thread Ryno Power Hydration Fuel 3/2/2018 1:37 PM

Folks, give EFS a try as an electrolyte drink. Compare the ingredients with Skratch or any other mix out there and then look at the price difference. In general, it is very high in electrolytes and also contains amino acids. I started using it after

MC1 does come in 12oz bottles. Assuming that is what you were using.... 12oz oil and 4.8 gal gas = 51.2 to 1 ratio. to keep the same ratio...... 16oz oil and 6.4gal gas = 51.2 to 1 ratio. Or you could just use 12oz out of the bottle and have 4 oz left ... more »

Added reply in a thread Knee braces are cumbersome 2/14/2018 7:44 AM

Been riding 40+ years without braces, just knee/shin guards. I think it would be damn near impossible for me to wear braces due to my extremely short/stumpy legs and knees that have an offset in them. When I measure my legs and compare to the sizing ... more »

Added reply in a thread So I had a thought.. Rear shock nitrogen charging solutions 2/13/2018 8:01 PM

You'll need some place to fill the tank with nitrogen. Many places will not fill a tank that is not intended for the purpose, etc. It might be just as easy to pay the deposit and get the tank from the gas place. I bought my own tank about 20 years ago. ... more »

Added reply in a thread 2013 crf450 no start 1/29/2018 7:22 PM

Very likely a fuel delivery issue and the most common causes are the capacitor, the ECM, or the coolant or air temp sensors. Easiest thing to do as a first step is remove the air filter, spray some starting fluid in and see if it will fire. If it does, ... more »

#1 cause of creep is notched basket or notched inner hub. Replacing plates and springs ain't going to fix that. #2 cause is warped plates. But that is unlikely. Before you order any parts you need to open it up and inspect everything and determine which ... more »

Added reply in a thread Two Stroke Pipe repair a different Way 1/24/2018 4:59 PM

I can't believe the welds wouldn't crack and start leaking if the pressure is high enough to stretch the pipe like a balloon. Holy cow. Anyway, seems like a good way to remove dents. I guess my only minor concern would be what do you do with the used ... more »

Added reply in a thread Excel wheels 1/24/2018 4:56 PM

Suzuki rear wheel = 36 spokes. Honda rear wheel = 32 spokes. Not sure if you can get an aftermarket hub for a Honda that fits the bike but has 36 spokes instead.

Added reply in a thread Diagnosing bogging 1/24/2018 4:55 PM

Sounds like an air leak somewhere. I'd start by spraying around everything with starting fluid. I'd also seal up that V-Force reed block with a nice, thin coat of moto-seal or some other gas-proof sealant. I've had trouble with those leaking before.
