That is interesting. And by adding the short start across the end, it's now impossible for the lanes to run the long way. Maybe it's some kind of conscious effort by Dirt Wurx to keep the speeds down and laps up. The actual track is essentially shortened like this, but because there's more turns placed closer together it could still increase lap times. Idk

Just to play devil's advocate here, anyone think maybe the short 2-stroke sequence was a nod to ALL the Hollywood movies where they get the sounds wrong, continually, to this day? I mean he actually switched to a 2-stroke bike for a sec, not just the wrong sounds. I dunno, just thinkin out loud.

Good read, I had a similar thought about street bikes a while back that had me thinking along the same lines. They're all relatively inexpensive and they're all pretty powerful machines.
