Additional Info: This is a GEN 3 swap, It is one of my favorite bikes I have ever built or ridden. I took my built 2000 engine and installed it into a clean low hour 2006 chassis. Bike also has Kit Suspension that soaks up bumps and hard landings with ease!

Where did you get that cam and powerband? I could only find the blue band...

Thanks Thomas. What I did was use the 2000 air boot and bolt it up to the 2006 air box. It wasn't direct swap. The 2000 air boot has an extra lip that you have to trim off. Otherwise it is perfect. A few other 2000 or 2001 parts swap over as well. You can use the 2000 radiators and head stays with little modification. Super easy swap and in my opinion way worth it.

Great build! We own 2 of the '00 CR250's, and those engines are excellent. My son's must have the red powerband installed though, because his bike is so much faster when we ride together. He jumps further & corners better too, so I need to start checking Craigslist for a red one. I'm sure that'll make me faster than him next time..

Looks so clean, well done man like it was meant to be there from the factory! Also that red power band is gunna make it holeshot against moto GP bikes wink
