I have riden with one, but oppted to trade back to the original. I think with time I could get use to the hump seat, but I like the transition on the regular seat for now.

Reply to Reed's finishing position at X 8/9/2007 2:22 AM

Reed's contract with Yamaha, does not include the off season (Supercross only contract) So he basically runs, his supercross bike, with minor changes. I see Larry Brooks, all the time, (Reed's team manager). He has the summer off, except for the MX of ... more »

eurohero wrote: plenty of talk about Reed getting 4th behind #8 and #14. Say what you want, I don't care either way about his decisions. My question is, with this race being a \"non\" AMA race, is it at all possible that those ahead of him had bikes ... more »

What ? (if you are making the comment to me) The shock would have absolutely made a difference (at Hangtown & other races) no matter how your conditioning is !!! If a bike works better you will ride better bottom line. Who cares how you feel. I have ... more »

We'll see how well he does on the Factory Suzuki, next year. I think has a long way to go, as far as maturing. I feel he will only get faster !

We don't do Hay bale covers anymore...we use very little Hay ! There is a lot of Glen Helen stuff to buy at the info center...you just have to face Betty...the ol' lady on the hill, to make purchases ! www.glenhelen.com

Well, I for one, can't wait to see what he can do at his home track (Glen Helen). If there is any race this year for MA, to win, it would have to be at Glen Helen. As for the shock therapy...hmmm...I would think that KTM, would want the best available, ... more »

I see RV, on a regular basis. He is a dedicated kid. Townley, also deserves recognition. I'm not the type to jump on the proverbial band wagon, for any rider, or anything else. But I do see (very often), many people that become fans, of only the winners, ... more »

The best (my opinion) Factory R & D. His work is just so clean, and perfected. I prefer stock off set, but I race off road GPs with a stabilizer, so I can run my forks lower in the clamps for quick turning. I've used BRP, Applied, RG3, and Ride eng. ... more »

People should never hate because of skin color. It's so much better when you actually spend time with someone, and find so many other real reasons, to hate them ! To me James Stewart, is a motorcycle racer...nothing more, nothing less, nothing different ... more »

AMA is a rule maker, and they do little else. I have been racing fo 42 years, and have never really, seen any good, from being an AMA member.

Agree...and the odds, of Stewart doing that is probable...if he repeats the past, that is. However, a straight up win, by 118 would be cool.

Reply to KTM recall. 6/2/2007 6:42 AM

I've seen hundreds of KTMs...they all have their front ends intact. Never seen one break off, and I race long, GPs. 1 hour, 6, 12, & 24, hour GPs

I tell ya'...I've spent some time around the KTM pits, and I think it is pure pressure, that has him loopy. I've talked to Jeff, on a couple ocassions, he's approachable, but Mike, is bombarded, by his Dad, and others in the KTM camp. The bike is fast, ... more »
