Supercross only deals save the team sponsors alot of money. It's likely that on the money end,the team sponsors are putting out about half, and still getting the exposure. Posters, ads, and appearences, still are close to the same, less the outdoor series. ... more »

An unfortunate event, with the top title runners being taken (by Stroupe) However, Stroupe's fast lap was as fast, as Townley, just shy of Vilopoto's. Second Moto, will rock !

AMA...we love to hate them...today, under race conditions, Stroupe was 17th fastest.

I watched the Pre-show @ live.motocross.com. I also saw that Newbie Stroupe, had the fastest qualfying time. I understand that the track was still wet, and not in raceday condition. Not to take anything away from Austin Stroupe, he is fast. But if you ... more »

True, that...but will his Yamaha stay together ? Been quite an issue this (outdoor) season.

Eric Sorby, has pointed out of the 250 class...look for Jeff Alessi, to be on the Honda.

I happen to own a 2005 KX250F, that my girlfriend races. I gave away my stock head, when I was given the one off James Stewart's 2005 KX250F. I will check around, Kawasaki, is just a couple miles away. I have several friends that work there. The problem ... more »

I can get an answer to the Yamaha question on Thursday. I think Reed has a good relationship with the guys at the Piano factory, so my guess is yes. If Milsaps gets a ride, I would think it would be full of clauses...he needs to buck up, work hard, and ... more »

I put the water system in at the track, she thinks that obligates me, to her. It doesn't ! In return for helping out year round, I keep my toy hauler there most of the time. I get free access to all events, and all access passes, for the bigger events. ... more »

Betty is okay ? Have you bumped your head ? She is the most difficult woman in the world. The SRA trophies are from past winners, that have not picked them up, and some belong to Andrew, and Kyle Yarnell. Post edited by: Mike Bierman, at: 8/21/2007 5:05 ... more »

I am six feet tall, been riding since I was three feet tall. I have tried the tall seats, and didn't care for them either.

Because people in the industry, refuse to call it the Lites class, and the Supercross class ! We prefer to call it as it is, 250s, and 450s...just like the Prequel, at Glen Helen, and the National, at Glen Helen. The trophies, were marked 250 class, ... more »

He is a very kind, and curtious person... his persona, on screen, portrays a much different side, his Metal Mulisha character. But on the same note...I would never get in a cage with him. He loves to cage fight ! He's a great man.

I've been running a 250, and a 450, I think I am cool with the regular seat. Switching just doesn't seem like something I need to go faster. Or be more comfortable. But who knows ? I have said, I would need a lot more time to get use to the bump, hump, ... more »

I have to agree with \"The Baron\" I did feel a little trapped, on the Step seat.

Reply to seats 8/12/2007 7:48 PM

It was a SDG step seat, with the hump a little beyond the middle, more to keep you placed forward on the seat. I just am an old dog, and the learning curve seems to take longer. I chenged the seat after practice, and returned it. I am one of the guys ... more »
