Pretty heartbreaking at such a young age that this kind of behavior is not only tolerated but encouraged...

Back in 2011 I did my right in, and 2013 did my left. I failed to rehab my right, and re injured it multiple times within a few years. My range of motion in my right is significantly lower today due to this. I only notice this when working out in the ... more »

I cannot relate to the durability of the Sherco. I have no long-term first hand experience. It's hard to want one, spend $13k and then have it shit the bed shortly afterwards. When buying a more known brand, there is generally more access to knowledge, ... more »

I should clarify. The bike I tested was the 300sef-r Factory Edition.. When I describe the build quality, I mean the quality of the components. A fan comes standard, clear tank, billet parts such as triple clamps and hubs, galfer rotors, akrapovich (sp) ... more »

That 300sef-r is what 250f owners wished a 250f could be. I owned a 18 250sxf (setup for offroad) and moto'ed both the 300sef-r and 250fx nearly back to back and the 300 was just a better bike... The extra torque on the 300sef-r allowed you to pull from ... more »

I fully intended to rebuild it at 100hrs—but it ran perfectly. So went another 50, then 100, then 200...and it still ran perfect. So I said, f**k it, let run it till she pops... Half of way through 2019 I gave it to my wife, she competed a couple off-road ... more »

Funny you mention the air filters. I have about 40 of them and when they get dirty I throw them in a garbage bag and clean them all at once. Unfortunately I must have thrown the garage bag out about 2 months ago cause for the life of me I can't find ... more »

Maybe like 50hrs worth of dual sporting. The rest is racing and training. At peak it's pretty common for me to put 250-300hrs a year riding...

No direct experience on a KTM 450, but I have a 16 350xcf with 700hrs+ on the stock original motor, including valves, piston, cylinder, timing chain, clutch, etc. I have never opened the motor. I race Pro/AA offroad in Canada.

Pretty sure I've raced a few times using these tires. 5hrs on a tire is unacceptable.

The 400 and 430 doesn't record individual laps times based on a set point... Only in distance or time...

Added reply in a thread Fitness watch with lap timer 11/25/2020 4:14 PM

The Garmin models will, using set position GPS... no Polar watches do

Added reply in a thread Hoosier Motocross Tires 11/25/2020 4:12 PM

Every Hoosier I've owned (5 in total) has done the exact same thing... Awesome performance for 5hrs and then things go to crap.

Added reply in a thread 2011 KTM 350 XCF value 11/21/2020 3:32 PM

For perspective, a 2011 350 is about on par in performance with a current gen 250f... Look for a 2013+ if you want 350f performance closer to what currently offered...

Likely it's never been the bike in the last few years. Barcia did as much on the Yamaha as he did on the Hondas and Suzuki. And he'll probably do the same on the GasGas too. He's talent, but not the likes of Webb, Roczen, Tomac, Anderson or Dungey/Poto ... more »

Yes. The 21 has shorter suspension, so you have to adjust accordingly in the triple clamps, but it will be a direct swap...
