I love a NY Strip. My favorite cut of steak! I like the rib eye also, but sometimes too fatty for me. I know everyone loves the fat and I do too. But I like the NY Strip because it’s all nice steak to eat!!

1/4 cow is around $750-$850. The hanging weight is around 150lbs-170lbs. The 1/4 takes up about 4 cubic feet of freezer space. It includes steak sirloins, filets, strips, and bone-in ribeyes all cut at 1 1/4", round steaks cut at 1/2" and tenderized.

Started a Bone in beef chuck roast from a 1/4 cow we purchased recently. Mushrooms, carrots, celery, onions, potatoes. Yum!!

It’s a plastic cover over a linen cloth. With four kids I gave up trying to keep it clean. I just throw away the plastic cover each week. Swap out the linen for a different color occasionally. I have OCD so the mess they make on the table and the floor ... more »
