Another thumbs up for FXR after running this stuff at Baja 1000. Lots of adjustability in the waist of these pants 30" to 33 or 34, I'd say. The neck runs a little tight on some jerseys. This helps keeps the sand out of your pants/boots when you are ... more »

I've talked to all of these guys at about inserting KYB carts to my WP CC legs: Cory at Protune. The Ride Shop (TBT Arizona) is another. TBT Corona, too. They know which lugs/parts you need.

Left and right hinges on both braces are worn. Velcro on starps are barely sticking on more than half the straps. Pads need to be refixed to the braces.

Is it easier to install the KYB carts in the 4CS tubes? FYI, KYB kits can be installed in both, but some forks require more work than others.

You want to know which fuel will be least hazardous to breath as exhaust gas, but still win the mini-motard race? LOL! Get an Alta. Uh, skip the leaded fuel. You can always rent a multi-gas meter and test the spectator area. The common sensors are CO, ... more »

Started new thread Securing Arai Helmet Vents ? 10/30/2018 9:57 AM

Any ideas on how to secure Arai rear vents better than what they are from the factory? I'm looking for a little bit of extra hold to stop them from disappearing when hit by branches and brush. I understand they are supposed to pop-off in a crash, and ... more »

I used ProX rod kit and vertex piston in my 2011 250SX (same generation engine). I bought a used cylinder from Ebay rather than replate my original cylinder. There are a lot of people that change from 250cc to the 300cc, so they sell good used cylinders. ... more »

This thread got me thinking ... I mean shopping. Just picked up a used set of size 9 J1s that look to be a few years old, but barely used. I wear a size 10 Instinct and a size 9.5 crossfire and a size 10 Tech 8, and the size 9 J1s fit me well. Impression ... more »

Added reply in a thread Pants for non knee brace wearer. 10/25/2018 8:44 AM

I've tried a lot of braces and non of them fit my legs like PODs. CTIs gave me bad blisters. For riding without braces, most of the pants have come a long way with the inclusion of more panels and more elastic, so they fit with or without braces. If ... more »

Added reply in a thread Mousse for MX? 10/24/2018 3:51 PM

Sheesh, 15h? Add some lube, bro! Heat kills mousse tubes, so the more lube, the better! Mousse tubes are a must if there is any risk of a pinch flat, or tearing the valve (MX or offroad). The only downside (IMHO) is the cost of buying and replacing them ... more »
