Started new thread Sur Ron Storm Bee 8/13/2020 8:44 AM

New specs were just released. Pricing is (supposedly) coming in a couple of weeks. This is by far the most promising e-Moto coming down the line at the moment. Until one of the big players finally steps up, Sur Ron will have the market cornered since

Added reply in a thread The Russians are coming! New e-motorcycle 8/11/2020 10:52 AM

The rider's name is Gavrilov Kirill, or it might be Kirill Gavrilov nstagram: gavrilov669). Pretty quick. It's rare to see any e-Motos being showcased by riders who actually know how to ride (which makes any true MXer question a bike's viability, durability, handling, ... more »

This bike has been around for a while. I guess they're calling it the CM250 now but originally it was the Milandr SM250 Obviously it's still being developed but it definitely packs some power. Would love to see this (or really ANY of the multitudes of ... more »

Always love these types of stories: the random nuances of MX history that are probably insignificant to casual enthusiasts but are fascinating to moto-nerds like me. TRULY UNBREAKABLE RECORDS Never realized the bit about Steve Lamson being the only 125cc rider to outright ... more »

Added reply in a thread Brian Hsu looking a ride potentially in USA 7/16/2020 7:11 AM

Brian showed flashes again this winter in the Euro indoor races. I'd really like to see what he can do with a proper and consistent bike/team whether it's here or in Europe. He's got skills, just needs to stay healthy. Not sure what the deal is with ... more »

Great interview with a living legend. I knew he'd been around along time, but 263 GPs! Wow!!

Added reply in a thread Tall riders, what have you modified on your bike and feel like is a MUST for us lanky tall people? 5/1/2020 12:23 PM

I'm 6'3. Bar risers really throw of the the handling for me. I've tried them all, but really prefer a more standard setup. Tall seat, while very comfortable and awesome for gripping the bike with your knees/legs, also mess with the center of gravity ... more »

Houston in 2012. Saw that in person. It ultimately wound up being his last good race. To be fair, Stewart was riding that horrible 2012 YZ which he abandoned only a month or so later when he went to Suzuki. But Windham was on it that night...although ... more »

Yep, 2009 US Open. I believe he was being sponsored by a dealer and/or some other sponsors from the Georgia area. To my understanding, it was always going to be something of a one-off. Don't think Lusk ever had an intention of reentering the entire SX ... more »

I believe this was Zach's first SX race. He had a few good rides after that, but was crashed a lot and was hurt a lot. Ironically, he's transitioned pretty well into off-road racing, which is definitely where I'd expect more epic crashes.
